Having issues playing ME3, half the time the disc won't be recognised, some times it will be recognised as a game, but when I select "play game" I get an instant unrecognized/read error.

Rarely I will get to the start screen, download the TU, and it will crash. IfI don't install the TU, I can get past character creation. Then crash.

I get the same errors with both discs.

If I try and install the game, it will give me the disc read error.

I tried replacing the disc in-store, I put the game in, installed it. I got to 8% before recieving the disc read error on my new copy and I've not gotten any further.

All of my other games, including Mass Effect 1 & 2 work fine.

Is there any word on this error? Anyone else with the same problems? Is there some sort of quirk to ME3 that is different to other games that my disk drive doesn't like?

Frustrated, would appreciate any help if people have it.

Bump with new info, also tried transferring install data from another HDD to my xbox, but it's copy protected, so you can't transfer. As a side note you can't transfer save games either.

List of what 've tried:

Disc 1
Disc 2
Install Disc 1
Install Disc 2
Start Disc 2 and put in Disc 1 when prompted
Install on Xbox Elite HDD and transfer to my portable HDD
Transfer cable the Elite HDD (with just ME3 install data) onto my 360 S HDD
Running it connected and disconnected from XBL
Without a HDD

None of the above progress past the character creation screen, if it even gets that far. The only thing i've not tried is installing it to my HDD from another 360 S, because I only have 1 360 S.
