I do pause the game but I still find the rifle to be very useful. I assume most of you take the 25% Headshot damage with your Incidinary? I have found this to be a good tactic. Have Liara use Stasis on a foe and then have a green beam of fire melt off their head.

I like the Phaestron ( I think that is what its called). it looks like the particle beam but shoots bullets.

I pretty much used that exclusively since I got it, I only used the Mattock a little, but I still love it.

I give Javik the particle, just fits.


Also I like giving my squadies revenant or M99 that thing is a semi auto widow

I love that gun and its weirdness, if it weren't so heavy I would use it more for shepard.

 Personally I loved the N7 weapons.

The issue of giving the particle gun to anyone that I saw is they don't tent to keep pressure with it, they tend to shoot it like they would a normal assault rifle, same issue I noticed with AI using Geth Shotgun, they'd charge it, but never shoot often.

Just my opinions though.

I never even thought about the ghostbusters thing hahah. The Particle Rifle is great but Mattock is amazing as well, I was using it last night and it works very well with a very fast recharge.

Revenant. Everyone uses it on my squad. Best gun ever. You can shoot for days and when the smoke clears everything is dead or broken.

I used the Phaeston all day.
I love it.

I used the Vindicator with stability mod and extended barrel. With the recoil kept in check it easily outstrips the Mattock, IMO.
