I find it downright insulting that Bioware thinks it can ignore its fanbase and hold their hands over their ears pretending nothing is happening.
A little bit of talking to the community would be nice after you kicked us in the balls like that
Why? They did this for DA2. It was weeks after the release before we hear anything from anyone important, and even then all it was was further hype about a nigh perfect game. Same will happen here. No one of importance will respond to anything on these forums till the firestorm dies a bit. Then we still will have no satisfactory answers. Or at least the ones we want to hear.

Maybe they can sell N7 earplugs "guaranteed to keep out complaints from squad members about Suicide Missions and fans about endings"

THey can't just move all of the ending threads in the hope that it will mask the rage, just too many people are angry about them.

Bioware is waiting for all of you to cool down because ANY response now will get a very strong response.
Also the game is STILL being released around the world. The European release date just came yesterday.

They are performing damage control, just like they did with DA2 and just like they are still doing with TOR. I am not playing TOR right now, but was going to keep my sub going until next month when they rolled out patch 1.2, but because of they handled ME3 I am seriously considering canceling my sub because I don't want to support Bioware anymore.
They are not going to admit they are wrong, that would just be bad business on their end and a bunch of unwanted PR that will make them look bad.
The fact that the endings are so atrocious AND they add insult to injury by Photoshopping a Google image for Tali's face is just...a complete insult to fans and players that helped support and get this franchise to where it is today.
I am pretty much done with Bioware right now.
I guess we could post links to this thread on IGN and GameSpot and other major gaming sites. Maybe they will take notice and make an article about it. Even if they don't, fans from there will help us ask Bioware for new endings.
Those websites are bought and paid for by EA. Did you see their reviews? Not one mention that the ending was utter shoit. Why not? Chobot. There really appears to be some behind-the-scenes corruption surrounding this game's press coverage.

And ignoring the community entirely is the best way to achieve that?

You call it "ignoring", I call it waiting.
The game has just been released. The entier team is tired. So they might have badly tumbled at the very end but do you really think these people are going now come down to this sh*thole where every armchair critic is complaining and whining about how lazy they are and how terrible they are and how much they hate their own franchise?
I won't. No sane man or woman will.
Give it a month at least. Let the issue cooldown. They are waiting AFTER everyone has at least cooled down before jumping in with a comment. It is logical.

People must realise that us fans cares a great deal more about the series than most of Bioware. For them it's a way to earn money, a job. There won't be any ending DLC, or a fix, we're stuck like it is....no matter how depressing it is.

Someone should, if only because its common sense. Enraged fan base does not make for good publicity or a strong customer base that will buy your products. I love the term arcmhair critic, as if only the people who make games have a right to criticize the ending.
And by the time its cooled down, they may well have permanently lost some people who, rather then pay may just opt to pirate their games for the future.
Getting ahead of the ****storm and CALMING it down, not waiting for it to calm down on its on.
It is logical.

Didn't say it was the best thing to do only that it's understandable. You try working on something for 2 years and then be required to read through all the vitriol on here.
As for armchair critic, they are a detestable bunch. We can criticize but to just sit on our asses and whine is just the ways of a child.
Go PM Chris Priestly, community manager of these forums who directly informs the team of feedback here, if you believe this is a huge problem and get their attention through constructive criticism rather than BURN BURN BURN and WHINE WHINE WHINE. Say what you want of the endings, but ME3 was still a stellar game.

Exactly. I hate the ending and do think it ruins the trilogy, but I deeply loved the game. If it wasn't for the ending, it'd be my favorite game ever.
