After you get dropped back on Earth, and fight for a little bit, Cortez tries some kind of maneuver (to distract something from killing you?)  He gets shot down because of his efforts, and you see the shuttle going down in flames.

Male Shep:  STEEEEEVE!!!!! (fantastic emotion, Shepard is horrified to witness his death...albeit, more horrified than the death of any other character.)

Cortez:  I'm okay.

Shep:  (instantly calm and collected again):  Sure?

I laughed out loud at the yoyo of emotions there.  Horror to "yeah, I didn't just scream like a girl.  You heard things."

It was too out of the blue to be considered realistic acting, sorry but it annoyed me.

It didn't fit with him in any regard, he didn't scream out for Ashley on ME1 or anyone on ME 2.

My Femshep didn't scream, as in the voice over didn't activate so I only read the subtitle for the yell....
