I'd have been more favourable towards Allers if Chobot was an ace voice actor. As it is, it's painfully evident that Chobot has little to no experience voicing a video game character and creating meanings solely through voice and tone rather than facial expressions and hand gestures. In a game like ME 3, where she's surrounded by a top notch all star cast, this sticks out.
Still, maybe if Chobot sticks with the gig, she'll get better. It'll be interesting for me to see if she becomes the new Jennifer Hale 40 years from now (after the current and very esteemed J. Hale has passed on, of course).

I think Emily Wong was going to be the one taging along since they hinted that she would be back in ME3. But then they got the idéa to have a real life repporter in the game and suddenly there was 1 too many.
I feel like they made fun of Chobot with Allers and she didn't mind because she likes being seen. They knew people would react to her being in the game.

Don't know about Chobot, but the Emily Wong twitter thing was some of the best marketing that's been done for this game (if you're fan of the franchise already, anyway). Good stuff, quite compelling I thought

I agree. I think I would've preferred Emily Wong to Diana Allers to be the war correspondent. It's not that Diana Allers or Jessica Chobot bothers me that much (I'm indifferent to her), but Emily Wong we have known since ME1.

At least she went out in an epic way though!

Hey let's not forget the fact that the pedophiles may just get the best ending. When I heard BW say they wanted to give everyone a shot at romance I didn't think they were gonna include Pedophiles. But how come they just gave the Pedophiles that like boys a chance why not the ones that like little girls too? I mean way not just go all the way and give all Pedophiles a shot?

Well I would have preferred to have Emily Wong and not that ugly journalist from the Alliance,but I must say I am very disappointed with the final game,it's too short and isn't worth the effort playing it especially after wadding through the other two,and yes the ending is truly crap.

What was so painful about chobot was, she does broadcasts for a living a still couldn't nail it. Every now and then she would sound like she wasn't reading a book but not often enough. Would have enjoyed Emily Wong on the crew.

I have no problems with chobot, she was put in a position she shouldn't have been, then again she got a check so she probably could care less about performance feedback. It would seem the director could have helped.

Also unless it turns out better on next gen consoles I pray bioware never tries to use real faces again, it makes attractive people turn to digital ugliness

I hated her so much. I feel like they had some success with Felicia Day with DA2 and wanted another hot nerd-chic. It was so sad that Emily basically died in a twitter-feed.

You do realize reviews are about the whole game mechanics and junk and never spoil the ending, right?
