So most of the game, since I got the two bonuses to weight in the infiltrator ability line, I was carrying with me a sniper rifle, a shot gun and an SMG. The SMG has 90% weight reduction, making it almost entirely not a gun on me. The shot gun is the Asari one, which has about the same as a normal SMG. So basically I am running a SNIPER/SMG weight... up until a recent mission I did not have a problem with this and I was actually running at about +60% tech, but now all of a sudden it seems like there is a hidden weight on my character that will not go away, or I lost my bonuses to weight and can not get them back. Here is a screenshot of me trying to use one single rifle. -57% speed.

Any ideas?

Edit: I'm starting to think maybe this is correct and it was ME that was bugged the entire game... I went to an earlier save where I had a ton of weight on. Screenshot below:

That is a mantis, which is lighter than the geth rifle, yes. However, I have less SMG weight reduction and a katana shotgun with over double the weight to make up for it.

Edit 2: Or not.. unless this is right. I have half weight with 0 weapons.

Edit 3: Another update.. went into a mission and I don't believe this is actually making my powers slower. They still recharged as fast as I recall. This just keeps getting more confusing.

weird bug! Hope you find out whats wrong

Try equiping every slow with something and then removing everything. Your game might think you have something on when you don't, so putting stuff on and taking it back off would probably reset that.

Also armor has weight, did you change your armor to a different one? Such as Cerberus armor is heavy. Not sure if armor affects the power recharge, and can't check till I get home. But thought I'd put it out there as a possibility.

Well, I don't know what happened but after a main mission it just went back to normal. Very weird, some kind of weight glitch I guess! Hopefully something I said gives bio some information.
