Just a heads up so hopefully someone doesn't make the same mistake I did. There will be a point on the Citidel where you can investigate medigel dispensers. Conrad Verner is also in the area (a fact that I was not aware of at the time). If you imported your game, you can talk to him and he can have some pretty nice war assets to give you, based on your previous decisions. However, if you investigates all of the medigel dispensers before you talk to him, then Conrad will disapppear, for one reason of another, and you will be unable to get a sizable chuck of war assets.

From what I've read, you can get almost 100 points off of him if you did a really complete playthrough of Mass Effect. I'm not sure if it's one or more, since apparently I missed it.

yea the medi gel thing is buggy. A lot of side quests are buggy...

Oh right, you get 1 if it's just the dissertation, but if you have an ELKOSS COMBINE LICENSE you get 100? Well the issue is that because all the licenses in ME 1 but like 3 gave crap gear, everyone avoided the crap licenses in their playthroughs.

I never could bring myself to be mean to conrad. i got 1 asset from him for being nice in every game.

I didn't see conrad until after I investigated the dispensers. That's the only reason he showed up.

OK, from what I've heard from my older thread, where I was trying to find him, maybe I'm just blind and he's still around. I'll recheck where I'm told he should be whenever I get home. Still, if you do it in the right order you'll be safe either way.

A certain bartender I saved in ME1 helped Conrad out. And then they rode off into the crowd together leaving me with a ...Did that just happen? look on my face.

Since this is an "avoid heartache" topic, there should be a running tally of ME1 import requirements, in order.

- Recover data for Gavin Hossle on Feros
- Recover the writings of Matriarch Dilnaga
- Purchase an Elkoss Combine Licence

I failed at that part. Anyone know if there's more?

Same here. The only thing is, after they flirted with each other and walked off together I was thinking "didn't Conrad say in that bar on Illium in ME2 that he had a wife? Guess they must've divorced in the few months after ME2."

So if i save jenna from choras den conrad will live but if i don't do that quest he will die?
