Finally got my Dragon Age CE from Game.co.uk. Had a right hassle with ParcelForce (as I always do).



Often the drivers can't be bothered to look for my house, and that happened today. Tracking details said "addressee can't be found" or some such.



Called ParcelForce, and they said I can't get it today, because it won't be released until Monday. I was like wtf? After a while they admitted that was limited to COD:MW2. So I arranged to collect from their depot, which is blooming miles from here.



Just back now, DVD is in, and installing.

The two rings that were a bonus as a part of preordering were a Memory band and a Dalish Promise Ring. They said the codes would be emailed on the day of release - if you don't get yours tomorrow, chase them!

I havnt had my codes yet...do you get that when you try registering?

As I said earlier, I'm at uni, and i didnt get it sent to my uni address, so I havn't actually got the game yet, i'll get a chance to play it when i'm back home



As a side note...it's 5 in the mornin, i havnt slept, and i have a lecture at 9...the joys!

the codes i receive are not correct.(xbox version)

they are only 16 digits instead of 25

I sent a polite email to Royal Mail yesterday asking when I would get my copy (before I figured out the whole 'Held' status thing that Parcelforce use) and I got a very defensive reply. I guess a lot of ANGRY INTERNET MEN have been hassling them...

Pre-ordering an item does not mean you get the item in advance, it means that you have ordered the goods to make sure you get them once they are released.

In regards to the Game pre order rings.



I phoned Game up earlier and was told the rings are being sent by EA via Game on Monday but as I had phoned they were going to push my codes through for today.



I just received them.



So to those of you who don't have them yet phone Game up and get them emailed to you now.

So I preordered the collectors edition from GAME (the only option for the CE in the UK) about three weeks ago.



I was finally able to pick it up today (I got it delivered to a store instead of home address), however to my surprise i found:



No tin case

No cloth map





What's going on? I didn't see any mention of different CE content for different nationalities anywhere. I mayaswell have got the digital deluxe edition, as at least then I would have been compensated for not receiving the above!



Feeling slightly ripped off now. Hopefully the feeling will go away when I finish work and can actually play the game tonight!



On another note.. whats up with these forums? I've posted this 4 times now as a new topic, each time being told the topic was created... except as far as I can see it hasn't been?

Still waiting for pre-order rings too. However, play.com and Game UK have always e-mailed these kinda codes a day late.

i got the preorder codes emailed to me this morning, the codes are not wrong in length they are correct, you have to type them in in-game under ea codes, they do not work by redeeming them on the dashboard.



@Those who havent gotten their game i would complain, i had to phone Game and Parcel force yesturday saying it wasnt CoD i was waiting for and managed to get it today. Some depots have the wrong information as to when to release certain items, quite annoying really

Just rang game, they said they are waiting on them from EA, and that the codes should be emailed out today, Saturday, and Sunday; and if I've not received it by Monday to call them back...



Really want that extra skill point before I start my game properly.

Yeah, everyone I spoke to at ParcelForce kept going on about Modern Warfare2; they started out quite angry at me (must be MW2 customers hassling them!), when I said it wasn't that game they calmed down a lot and were open to reason!
