Yup, just got mine as well (the second mail - telling me it's not actually shipped) sigh.... so close... so very close...



Given that I got Brutal Legend on Wednesday of the release week, I am hoping that they have processed them today and will ship them tomorrow for delivery Wednesday.



Probably a good thing, I've got 4 hours of meetings tomorrow and a presentation to prep... wouldn't have been good for my focus to know I had DAO on my desk waiting for me...

If by Friday I dont have it what with all this strike crap I will just pop into town and buy it. When my online order arrives will use the download codes then take the bugger back to the shop and get my money back.



Working till Friday morn anyway then off for five days. Whoo Hooo !!!

Paticularly irritating is the fact that they've taken the money from my account.

I can understand the worry with the strike on friday.

I can understand a company planning to get around the strike and not upset their customers.

But why O why would a company seem to act appropriatly (i.e dispatching early, taking their cash and posting it off) only to resind that less than a hour later.

Its just so...gah words fail me, my only redeeming hope is the fact all our orders -have- been given delivery codes alá parcel force so at the very least they are all packaged up and waiting for pick up.

Off to checking the parcel force tracking every 1/2hour or so it seems.

(oh and before anyone piles off to that site, parcel force dosn't track a package until it reaches their central hub and is beeped into the system, so even if they were in the van this afternoon we wouldn't know until..pff midnight maybe?)

Even with the kick to the balls e-mail I'd still rather I had the order dispatched, than the ready to dispatch.  I'm obsessively checking my game account ever two seconds, I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm now confused, GAME have just updated their dragon age page with this:

I've upgraded to express delivery for £2.95 and now they add a bloody free courier delivery? just my luck.
express delivery is royal mail's service right? idk what to do now, my order is "held as preorder" status still..

I just got my emails from game as well.



Got one saying that the delivery was on its way, then another saying that it's not actually getting sent early, it's just that game are takin steps to ensure that the game arrives on the friday.



I have this works, the people who pre-order shouldnt have to wait to play, that is just seriously wrong!

just got the email but the status on my order at GAME hasn't changed, looks like they're just sending emails whether or not it has actually been sent or not



only reason i bloody pre-ordered was to get it a few days early, not worth the hassle, especially with my luck.

I don't have it yet either, just the annoying 'your pre-order isn't on it's way' one. Perhaps they have a queue depending on when you ordered the game, since I cancelled my order and placed it again to upgrade to express delivery a couple of weeks ago.

i think what they've done is put all the paper work through so it's ready to go at the drop of a hat, but not actually sent the games off. ie, the parcel force numbers are real, but they don't have the parcels yet, that the games are waiting in a box by the door, so to speak. did that make sense?
