i`ve noticed that if i type in my order number, its coming up as dispatched, which is nice. I`m starting to think - or is that `hope`, that the kick in the balls email was just to cover themselves, just in case our copies do get caught up in the Royal Mail dispute, - and that they really have been dispatched.... i`m convincing myself that they have .. hehe.

Parcelforce numbers only work once they've been "beeped" into the system.

Well I have a free upgrade to courier and mine is shown as despatched at the Game site. But the parcelforce number in the email is not registering. Maybe it will start tracking tomorrow.

Just finished downloading the preload from EA-Store...sigh, now I just need to wait 2 days and 3 hours before I can install it.

Still though, I sort of have it *drools*

thats what i imagined too. really pissed that i cancelled one order last week to reorder with the express delivery and now THAT is free too, and it STILL says "Your order is currently held as a Preorder"

actually tempted to place another order with the free delivery on a different card now, getting slightly paranoid that maybe there is a problem with it or something, since most other people seem to have at least been 'processed'.

reckon if i ended up with 2 CE's the other would sell on a well known auction site?

Well the thing is, some are being shown as despatched - mine is and I preordered mine ages ago. And apparently they are upgrading them to Courier. Now the only problem is the Express delivery tracking numbe rin my email isn't working on the Parcel Force site.



'If' it starts working tomorrow, I could get it the same day and beat the yanks to the game!! If not, ah well Wednesday it will have to be :/

Seeing as they appeared all ready to dispatch today (and they've sent games on Monday before to beat the postal strike), it seems pretty likely that EA have told them that they cannot send DA out early, and so they're having to upgrade everyone to courier in order to get it there on time.

If so, that's pretty annoying, EA UK. How does it hurt you if we don't have to wait longer than the US?

that's kinda what i meant, my pessimistic side thinks that it's just an arse covering (ie "we did all we could") scheme if delivery is mangled by the royal mail strike...but i'm hoping with a fury, thats intense hoping right there, that sparky is right and that they have dispatched early to pre-empt any strike related problems/complaints about it not getting delivered when it bloody well should have been

This, applies to me as well.

Viz79 or someone in the same situation, I know it's a lot to ask, but can I ask you to PM me if you get your parcel tracked tomorrow? I'll be in uni between 9am and 2pm and I don't particularly like checking my e-mail in the labs, but it's easier to slyly open up a window with a forum whilst in a lab class.

Same. They were getting ready to ship but some credit card issue came up and now I am waiting for my new order of CE to get processed.  No word as of yet. Help me, Jebus!

I ordered mine from play.com, it was the cheapest option and I wasn't interested in the CE. I've just checked the website and it has changed from 'Pre-ordered' to 'Order Placed', which means they've got the stock in and are processing the order. The last game I pre-ordered from them was Arkham Asylum, and that came a day early, so I'm hoping this will too.

When i track it on the site it still only says it been sent for pakaging. Hopefully they will dispatch tommorow and i will get it wednesday or thursday.
