Just checked my preorder is the same as most on here one thing also is there was (not anymore though) a preorder bonus of two rings aswell for the ce edition. anyone got their codes yet ?

After reading the parcelforce topic it seems the inital collection of uk orders was missed, however the parcel force rep talking to one of our fellow forumulite has said the uk packages -should- be picked up today.

With that in mind we (again) -should- be able to see some change to our package tracking by later this evening.

Its looking more and more doubtful that any of us from the UK will see our GAME preorder early though as said elsewhere some lucky so and so's might just see it tomorrow through human error.

yes the the 2 rings from the game preorder of normal and colectors edition will stil lget sent in an email caus when u look it stil lsays pre order bonu on game website

Spoke with GAME Customer Service. They won't realise the packeges until tomm, so in my case I won't be seing my game untill Friday 8pm. This sucks balls...:-(

Don't forget there's also a postal striek on friday so certain other orders (like the preorders play.com was offering before Game offered anything) might not even get delivered 'till after the weekend.



And then those of us who ordered from Poland....... Well, goodness knows when we can expect to see anything but I'm thinking a good 2-3 weeks.

Whats another day when we've been waiting for half a decade?! Im just glad game are making the effort to ship with someone other than Royal Mail so that i dont have to wait till next week to get it.

That said mine had just literally gone to "DISPATCHED", obviously i wouldent complain if i got it 2mo and might well come back here to gloat lol

DANG IT!!!!!

I will get mine Friday then.. and I have a clear evening tomorrow...

Gah every other new release from GAME ships Tuesday/Wednesday but the one time... !!!!

So they have them all boxed up sat there... collecting dust....

I am not normally an impatient person but it's been a long time coming this game....

I can't believe that people are ****ing when Game (who I am no great fan of) have given free upgrades to next day delivery in order to ensure that their customers aren't adversely affected by a strike that isn't in any way their fault.



Day of release means day of release, anything else is a bonus, not an entitlement.

I doubt it's Game's choice, if they're having to hold on to the packages - considering they were getting everything ready as early as the end of last week, I strongly suspect they intended to send them out early this week (as they usually do), but EA UK stepped in to tell them that under no circumstances must they release the game that early. I don't really know why it would bother them so much, considering the game is already out, but..



It's really quite annoying - if it was sent First class to arrive on Thursday, it would drop through the letterbox and all would be well. Coming Special Delivery though, a signature will be required and there may be no-one in, and then I'll have to try to collect it from somewhere.

I went to the store to pre-order weeks ago. I just got a text saying that my Dragon Age Collectors Edition is ready to be collected on Friday from GAME.

Mines getting delivered to work, which is on an industrial estate... Do you have any idea How many vans go past the building per hour??? They think I've developed a complex, and tried to send me home..... nooooo...must get box from van!!!! must have Shiny!!!

Oh I agree fully, but every preorder so far from them has arrived Wednesday/ Thursday, I see that as the silver lining to dealing with the Devil... then the Devil in this case has changed the rules.. reminding us once again that they are the Devil....

Hopefully a few of these "bugs" I am seeing on the forums will be cleaned up before then as well - might help.

my copy was dispatched yesterday. i have the "your order is on its way exclamation mark(!)" email. what i dont understand is, i paid for express delivery which should see my order deliverd today surely?

no dice yet!.

just got me wondering why i bothered paying the extra cash for express.

Didn't you get the email below? (basically they are holding them till Thursday it looks now then shipping them all courier):

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent preorder.

Due to the industrial action by Royal Mail, we're doing things a little bit differently here at GAME
Towers to ensure we despatch your preorder in time for release day delivery. This includes
processing your order early.

As a result, you may have received an email telling you that 'your preorder is on its way'.

Sadly this does not mean you'll be getting your game early. It simply means we've started the
ignition, our foot is to the floor, the wheels are spinning...

we only have to release the handbrake and your game is on its way!

Well, mine says it's dispatched, but I'm not holding much hope for it to arrive before Friday. In fact, knowing my luck, it'll arrive some time next week. That said, I'm pleasantly surprised by the effort Game have gone to ensure we all get the game on time!
