....which I have an idea might actually be what Bioware is planning... I hope...
So it seems that the overall general conscensus about the problems with the ending is that it is entirely too vague and abrupt, with a stinging lack of closure. It doesn't really show the fruition of any of our major choices from throughout the game, or give us a clear look at how we affected the galaxy, not to mention the status of our crew, or LI's. I have a feeling that regardless of the choice at the ending, Shepard survives, rewarded for his/her selflessness in saving the galaxy by the catalyst. We get a glimpse of that via the small clip showing that Shep can survive. So here's my thought; Bioware is planning an expansion ala DA: Awakening. Not a full game, but enough to wrap up our loose ends and see how things turned out, and maybe help rebuild the universe. I believe this is supported by the fact that at the end, the Stargazer is going to tell 'one more story....', and we've been told to hang onto our saves. I think this would be the best option for everyone. Fans get the custom ending they feel cheated out of, Bioware and EA can sell another game, and they dont have to try to retroactively wriggle their way out of this mess they've made. If this is what Bioware has planned, I don't think we'll formally hear about it until E3. If it isn't, maybe this post might give them the idea, lol. Please just rectify this however possible Bioware...

Edit: This also wouldn't anger the few who -did- like the ending as much as replacing it or revealing it as a dream or something would.

I just want the assets to actually make an impact noticeably... they don't, barely do they even get shown, and that still doesn't impact anything, makes me feel the 1st, 2nd, and third parts of the game were all for nought.

Another thing I just thought of is that they wouldn't need to call it Mass Effect, because the Mass Relays are gone... so they could make another game without technically calling it a Mass Effect game, or going back on what they said about this being the last "Mass Effect"... Now I'm grasping straws, but still it would be true.

Well Element Zero with a conduit of electricity through it still renders mass nullified.

the only thing that really bothers me about the endings is that the mass relays end up being destroyed so that leaves all the different races left in the Sol System and of course the Normandy crash, but I feel like I could over look the crash if the mass relays were not destroyed. Cause what I was thinking was that if the mass relays were not destroyed then all the different races would go back to their home worlds and rebuild, so they wouldnt need much of a closure for that and then the whole deal with the Normandy crashing, they could still have that happen but just have a scene after the credits and the stargazer scene that shows that the Normandy is fixed and left the planet, since the mass relays are still around they would be able to still travel through the galaxy to whatever world the crew mates wanted to go too

I would buy an expansion pack, dlc, or whatever else they wanted it I got a better ending. Heck I'd probably buy another $80 game if it meant a better ending. Yeah I'm that pathetic.
