I investigated the incident in the AI core and went to the bridge to speak with Joker and EDI. After talking with EDI and Joker, I can not move Shepard at all with WASD. Is there a way to get him to start moving again?

I had this happen and have seen others report it. Fortunately the game autosaved when I entered the bridge, so I just reloaded and chose to leave and skip that dialogue at that time.
I went back later (after some missions) and talked to both of them, didn't get stuck.

My trick to get unstuck was to talk to Joker until a cinematic conversation started.

Thanks guys.
I had a save 10 minutes earlier, ended up loading it to get around being stuck.
I wasn't sure if I'd get a cinematic with Joker, otherwise that'd be a great way to get around the problem.

I had this happen, talking to Joker also fixed it for me.

This happened to me SO many times! It seemed better if I walked further forward, as close to beside Joker as possible...seemed like the issue was in that little ramp there.

Yep, I have experienced this a few times myself. Only workaround I can find is to reload a recent save.

I've run into this several times already. It's not limited to just the Normandy bridge. During the mission where you rescue the Krogan, I frequently got stuck on the corners of the wall columns or corners in hallsways. Most of these were in non-combat situations that had nothing to do with the cover system.

i had this same issue... just loaded my last save which was only a few minutes back. Same issue didnt happen again after that.

This has happened to me a couple of times. First time I managed to eventually get myself loose. But I had to reload the second time it happened, as nothing was fixing it. I had already talked to Joker so he was just saying "Commander" over and over.

This also happened to me. I also could not find a way to get unstuck from behind Joker. The only fix for me was to load the last save.
Seems you can avoid it easily by staying as far away from Joker as possible when talking to him or to EDI.

Got this twice, luckily talking to Joker/EDI is usually the first thing I do after returning to the Normandy so there is always a very recent save to load.

Happened to me, I just saved and reloaded immediately and it got fixed

Yeah got the same issue. The first time I had it, I could talk to EDI and after the cinematic I could move again. But now they're just saying "Commander." and "Yes, Shepard?" (no cinematic) when I try to talk to them. Guess I have to load a earlier savegame. Hope Bioware fixes this soon.

This happened nearly every time I went there. Most of the the time, I was forced to initiate a cinematic with them but once or twice the option wasn't available and I had to reload an older save.

Is there no fix on this yet? Last time around in ME2 were those damn corners, now this...

Happened to me too. But not only on bridge. My Shepard got also stuck after another conversation somewhere on the Citadel.

Happened to me multiple times too... now when I talk to Joker and EDI, I try to stay as far back as possible and I don't try moving for a few seconds after the conversation.

I had this issue with my first game. but I've learned to stand directly behind Joker when I talk to him, and to stand directly behind edi when I talk to her. I haven't had an issue for the past 2 full games.

Yeah, I get this issue too. Have started to quick save the game before I head up there. Not sure what triggers it.

I have experienced this bug when speaking to Joker or EDI on the Normandy's cockpit at least 14 times. I always, always remember to quick-save before entering the cockpit. One time, since I knew I'd saved, I tried running around the room to see if it was just one spot on the floor that was "sticky" but I actually got stuck in a few different places.
In some cases, the game dragged Shepard into the 'right' spot on the floor and I couldn't move after.
Worst part? If you quick-save while stuck, thinking you can just reload and try again, you'll be stuck in your saved game too. This happened to me the first time, and I had to go back to an old autosave.

There was a thread about this earlier, and somebody pointed out that it seems to be focused on the little white warning labels on the floor. Since I read that, I've avoided those things like landmines, and haven't gotten stuck since.

I just had this problem after talking to Edi for the first time since my first mission with her. Talking to joker didn't fix it. i had to reload an old saved game. I went back to talk to her and it kept happening. Easily repeatable.

Seeing that this thread is old and no one has found a fix yet, it may be pointless to post here, but... aside from getting stuck on the bridge, my new Shepard also gets stuck after ( or during?) a certain conversation on Mars (where Shepard lures Cerberus baddies into a cargo hold and walks to a certain spot) . I've tried loading an older save and it happens every time and there is no way to unstuck him.... Which makes the game unplayable. Has anyone come across this?
