None of your choices matter. You can randomly pick any option in the entire series and get the same ending.

None of this context/back story/enrichment matters in the end game.

Although it certainly enriches the thirty-to-forty hours you have to play through to get to the endgame.

...Seriously, people. Get your goddam priorities figured out. It isn't just the last five minutes that matter, dammitall. If it were, we all might as well just download save files and ONLY play the final battle. The batarians, turians, quarians, geth, et cetera, we spend time around each of them during the course of the game and much of that time is spent resolving sideplots we've been seeing since the first game. "The" ending might not have anything to do with this extra-curricular material, but the "endings" of the various subplots are that much more rewarding when you're invested in this type of thing.

The Turians will be needed... though maybe The Fleet can avoid all of this.

Who really cares about these anymore? The ending to the game makes it all ****ing pointless. Why bother BioWare?

This is a really interesting question. I'm also curious in seeing how ME3 DLC will be done, other than armor/weapon/Multiplayer map packs. Because... you know, it's done.

This was the first time I finished a ME game and didn't start another playthrough right away, it seriously depresses me talking to my crew and knowing the fate that awaits to them.

A person's story ends. The universe continues.

How? Everything that made Mass Effect different from other sci-fi stories has been wiped away with the finale of Mass Effect 3.

That person's story kind of destroyed the ME universe.

Just out of curiosity, does the Turian Councillor get any comeuppance?

I know Bioware loves it's memes... but a search on Youtube came up empty...

How do you figure?  Life goes on.  Unless you chose the red path, they can still return to their home planets with FTL travel.  It will just take time.  Even if you did, they can rebuild.

They will, undoubtebly, eventually rebuild the mass relays or something similar with their own technology in time.

Earth itself is going to be rebuilt and likely have every race in the galaxy living there now in some form.

The only disappointing thing about the ending is that it did not emphasize exactly what happened to the other races.  Besides that, I think the ending was perfect for Mass Effect.

This universe can continue, and it will be very interesting to see where they go from here.

It does matter, and in fact, after reading it (and I did finish the game) - I thought it added more poignancy to the situation with the Turians, which is all I'm going to say because it's the no-spoilers area.

It seems to me there is a countdown.

That news updater is saying Reapers just attacked the Turians. Today, I'm getting news about the Asari.

Maybe something will be revealed when it gets to the final battle?

Nope. It's following the in-game timeline already presented.

This is ridiculous... no matter what happens in the game, all this extra stuff is fun for the fans of the lore and story of the series. I like reading this stuff because I like the ME universe. Who could forget the Virtual Aliens story? The Raloi?

Thanks for doing stuff like this Bioware... I appreciate it

Not for me it didn't. No comment on how I feel about the game, but some people are being such drama queens. The sense of entitlement is annoying after seeing how much work they put into this game for us.

because the endings are not the real endings. Everything after shep gets blasted is not real. It's all a dream. Shep will wake up and because of his dream and being able to see the 3 ways it could go, he now knows what he has to do to not get those outcomes lol.   Just pulled it out my arss but I think he's dreaming

For BioWare to post something like this at this time, it's quite cryptic.

I quote.

"Turian response to the Primarch’s statement was vociferous. Several inter-and-extranet outages were reported following the speech, as turians vented their anger at the enemy. Primarch Fedorian seemed to have predicted this emotional response in his address, though it remains to be seen if he can contain it. “Now is not the time to be enraged,” he said. “Now is the time to harness our will and do what must be done. We must show that whatever civilization we face, it picked the wrong foe.”"

Yeah, It's almost like they're talking about something else entirely.  Weird huh?

How so?  It sounds like the article is describing some of the fallout created by the Reapers choosing to attack Taetrus (and then salt the re-opened wound) and the Primarch's effort to keep order.  That is pretty much exactly  what is described in the game.

Jesus ****in' Christ, this was supposed to be a non-spoiler forums but some people have the good idea to ****in' ruin everything. Take this talk to the story forums for gods sake. There's a limit to subjective non-spoiler opinion but some **** here crosses the line.
