Well, they gave us lemons, and I tried to take some of the footage and make lemonade.

It still isn't good, but at least for me it's a better last 5 minutes than the ones they gave us :P

I invite anyone else to make clips of how they felt the ending should have gone.

Well that's something...

I still think the relays have to go though, but I'd like the Citadel to survive.

at least it makes more sense than what bioware gave us... But I'd still prefer a better ending >.>

When i saw this scene in the game, I actually thought it was gonna be the last one.I would have been *ok* with this.

It seems better to just skip out the whole Guardian section. They answered an intelligent question with a dumb answer. I'd rather the Reaper's existence remain a mystery.

I think that's a thousand times preferable to our current ending. If that was the one they'd released, I think a large majority would still be upset, but it would have left the door open for DLC in a better way.

Excellent job with what you had to work with, though.

Thats a real good alternative, much better than the real endings for sure. The perfect ending for me would have been almost the same, just with your final mission squad mates next to you too. That way the series could have ended the way it was played; surrounded by your loyal friends and loved ones.

much better, still the closure for major subplots and crew members would be missing to be perfect ...

Agreed.  I was still onboard with everything until that last choice was presented.

Much better, if it had text epilogues like DA;Origins it'd be perfect.

Indeed, much more DLC fixable.

Yeah when I went back to do it again, I was reminded of what a beautiful scene it is. Maybe my favorite in the whole game, and the god-child had made me forget about it in my first playthrough.

This was still better than the stuff they added on to the ending ingame. Normandy crashing + story telling scene really ruined it.

Just watched "your" ending - great job and as stated above, infinately preferable to the ones offered in-game.

Final confrontation, selfless sacrifice, the big baddies defeated and hope for everyone.

Now, someone tell me how to actually mod my PC version to use yours to replace what's in the game?

at least its better than the trash bioware calls an ending i would be able to live with this if it was the normal ending but i still think they need a happy ending

That was pretty good. I got to agree with a lot of people here, I guess all Bioware really needs to do is remove the whole Guardian bit.

Also think that this scene would need more variation, in terms of how well off Shepard is. Having her bleed out right there is waaaay too depressing. There should be a way to end things, where Shepard is just fine, I feel.

Of course, this is coming from someone who hasn't played through the end yet(and actually doesn't plan on it until new endings are released), and has only read them. But I definitely feel that depending on our galactic readiness, we should either end this scene anywhere from bleeding out, to perfectly fine.

This ending is way better than the endings, which Bioware gave us.

I mean, this Ending does not show, that Shepard dies, does not show, that stuff like Mass Relays get destroyed etc. Take this ending, expand it a bit and you have an ending most of us would approve, i think.

That as actually acceptable... how it should have ended... nothing about the stupid Organic vs Synthetics "We wanna be BSG" mess. If want to watch BSG I would pull it up on Hulu or something.

The ending should be based on what you have done. Not be some contrived piece of trash what we currently have. This is insulting. Bioware slapped its users in the face.

That was really good. I'd have been okay with something like that as opposed to the god toddler.

Removing the Guardian bit and epilogue is a clever idea, as those are the parts where the ending really fell apart. This version of the ending doesn't really offer any closure, so I don't think people would have really accepted it either, but it's definitely better than what we have now.

Considering what he was working with, I think it's a great improvement.

The rest would be up to bioware.
