This was honestly the ending I was expecting, with variations pending war assets and stuff of course, when I first played the game. But then it didn't happen and I was completely disheartened with the crap they proceeded to feed us after.

Like it very much, a bit more cut scene what happens after the end (quarians back to homeplanet, all are rebuilding the galaxy ect. a bit of the games characters too) and it really would be my satisfying end.

Destroying the reapers is the worst possible scenario.

It seems better to just skip out the whole Guardian section. They answered an intelligent question with a dumb answer. I'd rather the Reaper's existence remain a mystery.
It still doesn't explain where the hell the Guardian came from, even if we except that he used his space magic to bring the Reapers into existence from nothing.

I can't know if I'm answering this right without more clarification from you, but the reapers being destroyed in this edited ending is not the same as the "destroy" choice in the game.
In this ending, the Crucible just a big reaper killing gun, there is no Catalyst-kid. EDI and the Geth get to live, and the relays are not destroyed. It's a very simple ending that tries to get out of the way of the awesomeness of the rest of the game.
