Hey dudes!

Looking forward to ME3, bought Collector's Edition yesterday and i'm gonna play it as soon as i complete my one-hundred-and-umpteenth playthrough of ME2 ^^

Now for my issue.

I seem to be unable to get the e-mail from Kelly Chambers. And im gonna be frank with you, i want her. ^^ I have done it before.

Now for the statistics.

- I flirted with her as much as possible. (Never asked if she was in to aliens though; don't know if that is a requirement)
- I asked her to feed my fish.
- I saved everyone during the suicide mission; including her and chakwas.
- I shot down every other LI-possibility (Miranda, Jack, Tali) so that they really don't have anything to say anymore when i choose "i want to talk about you".
- I DID try to go all the way with Samara, and got the "another time, another life" comment from her. Don't know if that is something that screws the Kelly-thing up.
- I have also, fairly recently, downloaded all the DLC, and i did invite Liara to my cabin after the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" mission.

What is amiss??

I am currently zipping around the galaxy looking for an updated inbox, but it just isn't there; either at the galactic map nor the computer in my cabin.

Anyone else with this problem?

I'd like the answer too as I've done 3 no relationship play through, flirting with Kelly, getting her to dine with me and feed my fish, still nothing, I'm tired and want to0 start #3 dangit!

Exactly.
I've actually gotten Kelly before, but this playthrough; the one i actually want to export to ME3, i can't seem to catch her interest.

I've had no email from Kelly either.

I just hope that by the time I want to import the Kelly playthrough to ME3 there'll be an editor available.

Frikkin annoying, because i KNOW i am supposed to get that mail from her. I did everything right, i think, and still... the b**ch just won't come to terms with her infatuation over me. ^^

Could it be the DLC that screws it up, like a glitch ore something? I did Arrival and Shadow Broker, i got Overlord left to do and that, coincidentally, is the last one i am going to do before moving on to ME3.

It could be the aliens thing that leads up to that but I'm guessing.

Hmm, apparently a lot of people on different forums agree with that, that you have to ask if she's into aliens. But... i don't know... but i don't think i asked it the first time around and still got her after the end.

I'm not sure though...

5. You’ll need to ask her if she is into aliens. This option only comes up during her comments about Tali or Thane. This is when she lets you know (indirectly) that she is bi-sexual. Actually, this isn't entirely true and maybe this is the problem i'm having. Asking her "you are into aliens?" also comes up when she is talking about Garrus before the dinner date thing.

Kelly: There's something about him. I just want to hold him close and whisper, "It will be all right"

At that point you have 5 possible choices:

- I could use that
- you are into aliens?
- leave him alone
- i feel the same way
- he'll be fine

see what i mean by ambiguous? i would assume though, that "i could use that" would be pro-"Kelly Romance", but then again we have Dusty's comment above to contend with "5. You’ll need to ask her if she is into aliens."

The other 3 responses seem utterly obvious, but again, SOMETHING went wrong with my playthrough and this is the best i can come up with.

Well, its not too ambigious, since your assumptions are correct. {smilie} Both "I could use that" and "You are into aliens?" are good things to say. The only thing is that if you don't ask if she's into aliens here, you'll need to ask it when she talks about Tali (maybe one or two other spots? I don't remember.) It's expected that you'd ask about it during the Tali comments since that one doesn't have a flirt line like this one for Garrus.

I also chose "i could use that", and never even bothered to ask her if she's into aliens. That was apparently a vital thing to ask if you want to romance her.

Very annoying, though, to miss out on that.

BS, I asked her that after the Garus mission, I've defeated it for the 8th time, different start entirely and no damn email, I'm really mad.

In my experience, you need to end any romance to be able to call her to your quarters, but no email that I remember. So just finish any romance, go to your room, and see if you can call her.

7. Talk to her after the end game. Ask her if she is OK. This is important, because you only get one only option to do that. You can’t ask her later. She needs to get the ordeal off her chest right then and there before she can be back to her flirty self.
8. Don’t have an active love interest. You can never have one, have one but get them killed in the suicide mission, or dump your current love interest.
9. Leave and return to the Normandy (or save and load). You’ll get a private message from Kelly. Read it.
10. Go up to your cabin. The terminal next to your private console will be selectable and say “Invite Kelly Up”.

I take it if I leave the ship and come back, she should be ready.
I'm working on ME 1 advancing rank further and looking to save the Salarian captain, kill all Thorian slaves and the Asari in it this time, god help me redo ME2 again!
