So I just had the scene where Liara comes up and annotates my achievements for her gray box thing in my cabin. But the conversation just seems like we are good friends and not lovers...........Even though we did trade a few kisses in another scene.....Is it possible that me being nice to Steve negated my 3 game relationship with Liara!?!?!

I was nice to Steve too but I don't think it has anything to do with it, just an oversight on their part. You'd think they would have given you the achievement for rekindling a romance with Liara on Mars or at least the conversation you have with her on the Normandy after.

I looked on some romance guides and APPARENTLY Liara is suppose to give you some time capsule and you have the option to say " I want to be more than friends" but looking on youtube, no ONE has that video up.

Help?

The scenes can be confusing, but If you guys have exchanged kisses I'm pretty sure you are locked in then.

Oh. The time capsule thing happens to everyone, that's not part of the romance sidequest.

The "more than friends" line happens during a "date" on the Citadel, which I believe is after the time capsule sequence. She'll send a message to your private terminal, it's hard to miss.

It doesn't happen in the scene where she is showing you the "data capsule" and the information that she's putting in it. A little bit later in the game she will invite you to the citadel to talk, then is when you get the choise to make your relationship with her permanent in the game.
By the way if you cheat on her before this happens, she will not give you the option to chose between her and whoever else you cheated with. She will plain end it with you and talk about being friends. It happened to me when I lied to her about tali...
You can still save your relationship with her if you cheated in me2 but only if you let your other romance partner know you want to break it off with them before the citadel date with liara.

No way. Not for the endings we got.

I'm waiting until a fix comes out. Maybe an ME3 version of the Gibbed Save editor?

Pretty sure this is how it plays for everyone. I imported the Liara LI save and that was what I got. The real romance comes later.

You can reaffirm your romance with her on the Citadel later. But yeah, it is kind of weird.

I liked the romance with kaidan a lot, however I just did not like the man that he had become. I don't have a problem with him developing into someone different, but he talked about alcohol way too much. Also his hospital gift was alcohol. WTF? He also didn't aks how shepard was doing, like ever, when garrus and the other did. This bothered me. All he did was talk about himself. He also never socialized with the rest of the crew accept maybe once. 

To me these are warning signs for an alcoholic so I felt very put off by him. However if i just ignore those things, the things he says are satisfying. I just wish he would stop talking about drinking so much.

Tali was my romance but it felt like Liara wanted something more than friendship the whole way. Liara would be my very strong number 2. I avoided certain new characters so I wouldn't accidently get into an entangled mess I have no interest in being in.

It's right before the Cerberus base mission that she has the data capsule and you do it.

Your romance gets locked in with the paramour achievmant pretty early on in the game.
