If organic life, over the course of millions of years and cycles, are able to create the crucible and effectively defeat the reapers. Doesn't that contradict the very necessity for the cycle of the Reapers? Reapers exist to preserve organic life and civilizations and prevent total organic anhilation from the synthetic life organics will inevitably create.
So, if it takes organics millions of years, isn't this current cycle now proving that, with all their accumulated science and knowledge, they are now capable of defending themselves against the inevitable synthetic life they will create?
I suppose one could theorize that the synthetic life that organics create can become more powerful than the Reapers, but that seems unlikely. So the ability to defeat the Reapers should imply the ability for organic life to defend itself from anhiliation.
