First play through- hey look, I can turn into a stone golem. too bad this only took 90 minutes.

Second play through- hey, a 90 minute puzzle. no thanks. /logoff

Seriously, this part of the game sucks. Put a code in to bypass it.

Also, the end boss is hard. Actually, a lot of the game is. Time consuming too. Is there any way I could just roll my character and then watch the last cutscene?

I got bored with it the first time I played through the game. However, when I finally beat this game I don't think I'm going to spend another 30 - 50 hours of my life playing through the same story twice. There are other games out there, other things to do. /logoff sounds like the right solution.

That part of the game really does feel like a grind. I'm dreading it coming up again on my 3rd playthrough

I beat the game already, so I don't see your point. I want to play MY character, not run around as a mouse for 90 minutes a second time.

Huh?! I loved the circle tower and especially the fade part. Shape-changing in the fade was loads of fun.

It sounds like your problem with it is that it took you long to figure out the puzzles. Maybe read a walkthrough. There are several online. I really don't understand how it could hav taken you an hour and a half to figure out the fad though.

He's entirely entitiled to express his opinion, and actually did so without being rude about it. No need to flame him. I personally enjoyed the Fade but found it to be a tad long as well, so if he didn't enjoy it, I can completely see where he's coming from.

Huh... one of my fav part of the game... running with a burning skellie is fun! Sometimes using all 4 morphing abilities in one fight even funnier.. well, 3 of them at least... the small guy isn't really usefull for fighting unless there were a female nug in there!

Admittedly there is a bit of a point here. The area has a limited amount of replayability compared to the rest of the game. There's almost no conversations, the combat is straightforward and easy (because you're alone, it has to be so that people that aren't great at solo combat tactics can get through it) and the puzzles are static, so once you know the answers there's nothing to figure out.

I find it a fun area, but I can definitely see it getting old because most of it has little difference between playthroughs. In most areas, your choice of party composition and skills makes much more difference in both combat and conversation.

A tad long compared to what? Honestly once you know it it takes barely an hour.
Besides what I said it's not a flame, it's a remark against the 9001 people who whine about wanting to bypass that whole section. Give it a rest already.

No actually the problem is that the puzzles are easy (durp fire, turn into a fire man) but involve lots of useless running around. This isn't like a Bg2 puzzle where you click some stuff and are in and out in 5 minutes tops.

I agree that it's a quite the epic grind the first time around and is somewhat more of a hassle on subsequent go-rounds. However, it should also be a lot easier. Once you know what to do, it should take 45 minutes to an hour tops.

I must admit, this is my least favorite part of the game, if there was a way to bypass it, I would do so in a heartbeat.

I can understand your frustration.

Interestingly, the Fade is one of my favourite parts of the game. It was frustrating when we got caught there during the Warden's Quest contest, but I really enjoyed it when I could take my time and do it right!

I'd agree with your idea to put a code in place to bypass it, but I think it really fits well with the story, so I suspect that won't happen.

It's not that bad. Although, it could have been much better.

I would like a code to just skip the game please. Maybe get to choose how it ends so I do not actualy have to play the game.

In the future Bioware I suggest you just add a method that us your paying customers can skip whatever content in your games that we do not enjoy.

If you find the trapped Templar in time, you can skip a fair sized chunk of it.

You know I consider the Dalish part to be the most boring part of the game filled with boring and annoying characters, obnoxious antagonists (I want to CUT SWIFTRUNNER'S TONGUE OUT AND RAM IT DOWN HIS EYESOCKETS), and a long and dull dungeon.

But you don't hear me demanding to skip it.

I share your opinion.I enjoyed it the first time, but it did seem to take awhile. On my third playthrough, it's going faster, but the "uniqueness" is over, and it can feel like a bit of a grind.

This.

I seriously want a third option here:  Set all the jerks on one another, kill the survivors and sell the loot to buy better equipment for the armies that aren't full of douchebags.

I just think it's silly to say "this bit gets tiresome after the 3rd playthrough."

Same sentiment here. I was a little bored with it too (but the attribute increases made it worth while). I'll play through the game once and do everything I can, but once it's done, I'd rather take a break from games for a bit and then move on to something else. I don't really get the appeal of multiple playthroughs for a game like this.
