I must admit... I haven't had much time with the game so far (12 or so hours), and i just finished Priority: CItadel (second version)
... and I have to say, Than'es death was perfect. I am not ashamed to admit that it tugged a couple of tears from my eyes, and made my chest feel heavy. I know that these forums are filled to the brim with people complaining left right and center about things they don't like, but I would like BioWare to know that how Thane died, with his son and my femshep there, peacefully and knowing that his last blessing had been passed along...
(stands up, faces towards BioWare HQ, and claps) well done. A noble end for a noble character

You will never hear me say that this is not a wonderful and well-done game with one very, very glaring problem ... those last five minutes or so when the game seems to have lost that wonderful writing crew and they apparently hired a Sy-fy Saturday script writing crew to finish it.

I think everyone got tears when the ME2 members had to go....except for Kelly Chambers....

Well, Mordin's was pretty much set up in ME2. But Thane... to have one last chance to save those he cares about, and do good in his life... and then to die with his son at his side.... it was beautiful. I am a writer myself, and I know just how damned difficult it is so pull such a perfect scene, and hence my kudos
