I'm with people who said to finish after final speech or once you are on a citadel.
I finished the enitre game. and I feel sick to my stomach. I cannot see myself replaying it as it is right now.
I knew it would be bad. but I wanted to see for myself. I wanted to see if it does in fact feel better when experienced then when read.
it felt worse. so much worse.

My advice? Enjoy the ride to the Shepard/Anderson "best seats in the house" conversation, and imagine the game ends there.

The endings are really really bad.
My first thought was "am I playing Deus Ex but in which the endings are lame ?"

I'm terrified of finishing this game after all I've read. I'm glad I did spoil the endings for myself, because I know I would have felt sick when I actually got there (especially since I've been busting my back getting so many war assets). I'm gonna play as far as I can but when the end is in sight, I'm just going to stop. I'm with the "hoping for closure with DLC" crowd but I get the sinking feeling that won't happen.

strange that we have to hope they fix the ending with something that doesnt suck via DLC. sad we have to pay more money... BAZINGA!
I'll youtube the new endings and feel at peace.
No more money for you Bioware.

Stop after you give you team the speech. Write down what happens in your mind and enjoy.
This. As soon as I finished the game, I pretended it ended here and made my own finale.

Play through and see it for yourself. I'm fairly confident you'll be right here with us after, raising hell to get Bioware to fix their damn game.

Do not fear that which you hear in rumor. Experience it for yourself and then judge it worthy or not. You may love the endings, you may hate them, but you can't know until you experience them.

After the speech to your friends from squad, Shepard goes on to destroy all the Reapers and everyone lives happily ever after.
Now, you don't have to see the pain of the endings. I know if I knew they were so bad, I would've kept on playing the game, replayed ME2... At least the multiplayer is still fun, when it allows me to connect.

I must concur. end it at the Best seats and imagine how it goes from there , the endings are as follows :
Doom
Ragnarok
Apocalypse
AKA they all suck, none of your choice matters , resistance was futile.

Save yourself the pain. Seriously. The end will make you want to punch babies.
