Hello Fans,

ME3 shipped to 850,000 people on the day of release. Many more will buy it. But I also know that 90% of us are terribly dissatisfied with the endings. I'd like to have this thread turn into a petition to boycott all future BioWare / ME products until we get our ending.

Please sign if you would like to join this effort. Our money must be worth something to these guys.

We can do this. But please avoid harsh language and be respectful.

Thanks.

Full list of reasons here:

Kind of ironic you start a boycott, on thier forums. Reminds me of Occupy Wall Street.
But I agree nonetheless.

I have stated my feelings towards this, check my signature for my link. I don't bash Bioware for what they did and wouldn't boycott it because the game itself is amazing and so is the series. The endings alone in my eyes doesn't ruin the franchise.

On further note, I would assume by now the numbers have doubled on the game.  That was first day numbers.

i agree we should boycott them and demand them to make the ending that we, the majority of the fans, want.

What are we boycotting?

I already paid for all the games and the DLC that went with them. There is nothing left for them to squeeze out of me anymore, hell they don't even have any games on the horizon.

The word Fan is getting to be such an overused word, A "Fan" would respect the company that has made such a fantastic franchise and "support" the choices they make even if they don't 100% agree on it.

I don't know how much a boycott would actually do. I say we just be as vocal as possible, like we're already doing.

I'm also going to go out of my way to endorse not vandalizing anything, despite no one having brought it up yet, because I'm a big fan of suspiciously specific denials.

Agreed! No DLC or other purchases from bioware until they fix this the nonsensical ending.

Oh, and RE2_Apocalypse: I'm a fan of John Lennon, but I hate his decision to start banging that crazy Asian lady. Being a fan of something does not imply universal, unquestioning support. That's a zealot.

I'm not planning on buying any ME3 DLC unless there's an ending fix, but I'm not going to boycott all Bioware. I still want DA3.

I really hope people who are against the endings choose not to buy pre-game DLC. It will all lead to the same unsatisfactory place afterall.

I love how the OP claims that 90% of the fans are dissatisfied with the endings. Hyperbole at its finest.

You didn't get a super happy ending. Oh well. The series is about trying to stop the complete genocide of intelligent life in the galaxy. The odds of even surviving aren't high and you want a happy ending. Jesus people...

no, that's a fanboy. A fanboy will always agree with the company and say that they are flawless and people just don't "get it"

A fan will enjoy the product will strive to help improve the product as well. Giving constructive criticism is a wonderful thing. Simply being a yes-man is how you end up with problems. (see. Congress)

Yes, we do, because that's sort of the theme of the series! If I wanted to play a game where everything goes to hell in the end, I would play DA2 again. I'm not saying those endings are never fun - but I was really hoping mass effect would let me have my cake, and eat it, too. Sometimes all we really want is a happy ending.

Gaming boycotts are the equivalent of threatening to hold your breath.

I dunno watching billions of people die. The loss of previous team member so that they can do the right thing.

People want the choice. if someone "plays perfect" does everythign they should have the ability, no matter how hard it is to get, to get the ending where everythign is just bleak and depressing.

Choice matters. These endings it doesn't. I can screw over EVERYONE. I can say f it and trololol my way through the story and wind up with the same options as the person who unified the galaxy. The person who brokered a peace between groups that were fighting for centuries.

That's just wrong imo.

On topic though.

Boycotts don't work. Just provide constructive criticism and I'm sure things will change.

Please refer to this thread. It will answer why we are so dissatisfied.

Not 90%. But a huge majority.

Have a nice day.
