question, anyone got the xbox version? I just started and the game itself seems to run pretty good but some cut scenes stutter pretty bad. Is this just how the game runs or is my copy bad or something?

It runs fine on my 360 with only a few slight slowdowns on intense fight-scenes etc, but same as most games, if you install it onto your hard-drive, any graphical/sound problems should lessen.

hmm, can't say I have seen much for stuttering on my 360. could be your disc. if anything the only things I have run into are some lockups. in about 50 hours of play have experienced lockups maybe 7 times.

I'm playing it solely off disk and am around 19 hours into the story.

I've had only 1 audio drop out for the dialog (which was fine since I have subtitles on) and the audio warps ever so lightly when I switch characters in the pause mode.

No slow downs (yet) and no stuttering.

My experiences pretty much mirror Anarchosyn's above, except I have much more playtime in.. No slowdown, no stuttering, very VERY occasional one-line audio drop (maybe 5 times, and I'm halfway through my second playthrough). The one other thing I noticed, toward the end of my first playthough: I occasionally had mobs with no loot. The loot window would open but it was empty. Again, it was very occasional, perhaps 25 normal (not big) mobs in total. Not enough to be concerned about.

How do other games play on your 360? Could it be the 360 itself?

Install the game to your 360's hard drive and see if that helps performance. All in all, I have had a very positive experience with this game. No major glitches or game-stopping issues. 1 audio drop and mobs with a loot window but no loot, as others have had. However, few issues with a game that is very vast in scope and options. Bioware did a great job with this one. Particularly if any of you played Neverwinter Nights 2 when it released. Obsidian, I love you, but why can't you finish your games? ;)

Even on a samsung HDTV 1080i this game has the graphics of the original xbox or a 360 launch game, the gameplay, dialogue, and voice-acting are superior but the graphics take away from the game in a major way,if we dont care about graphics then we would play pen and paper right? The above poster says the game is complete?Anyone who understands the developement knows this is just being lazy and not going the extra step to make the game for the console onpar with the PC version,we already get shafted from user-created mods. You may be able to fool most console gamers bioware but you dont fool the intuitive ones.

As mentioned above, saving it directly onto your HDD cuts down loading time and helps make the game run smoother.

Anyway, you guys are lucky. I ran into a freezing glitch during the Broken Circle quest that I can't, for the life of me, seem to get past, and this is both on the 360 AND PS3... *sigh*

hu, well i guess that was only near the start. when i tested out the city elf origin initially it stutred a lot durring the starting cut scene. Didnt really get it again and i finished that, and restarted a human and am now on the warden test

fluke i guess.

Honestly i think this game looks pretty decent. Its not dazzling but its not nearly as crappy as everyone was saying. Im playing on a 60" 1080p HD so maybe it looks especially bad in lower rezs?
