Only just started the Quarian bit/finished Tuchanka.

When I thought I killed Grunt because I saved the Rachni I was like  "NOOO!" and then he was covered in gore and I rejoiced!

I agree with Mordin. When he was singing all quietly.

My happiest moment so far was watching Thane and Kai Leng having an assassin-off. 
But then he got stabbed. Sad times.

When Mordin, Legion, and Thane died I felt like crying and yelling their names at the clouds for hours.

When Grunt came out of the Rachni caves alive covered in blood, I was so happy.

The whole game was memorable, and to relive it, I'm doing my second play through right now.

One of the best moments in the game for me was in Tuchanka. I was thinking so hard what to do (fake the cure or not) and then Wrex begins to say how awesome my Shepard is, how Shepard will mean hero for the krogan and etc... and that hit me, I knew that if I fake the cure my Shepard would forever be hated by the Krogan, and most important, by Wrex, a character that I really care about.

For the first time I saw myself as the villain, as that guy in movies and books that everyone despise. That was something unique, that you can only feel if you play Mass Effect since the first one.

A smaller one that I was really touched was when I gave Char's memo to his Asari mate. It managed to be both a beautiful and sad moment.

Sad:
- Mordin holding the line. And doing it in musical form. :'(
- Wrex getting mad at me for destroying the genophage cure in ME2. ...I was kind of hoping he'd never find out about that.
- Oh, and I guess that kind of lead to his girlfriend's death too. Sorry, Wrex.
- Legion becoming an individual person...and giving it up immediately.
- Thane's prayer.
- Jona losing both his parents.
- All scenes with my LI. Mainly because I know the endings and it tears me apart hearing them talk about their future.
- Pretty much all the flashbacks in Legion's mission. Especially seeing the quarian try to protect the geth and dying for it.

I will get back to you on happy stuff (which does exist). Making this list has depressed me too much.

My favorite parts were the
1) Quarian/Geth good ending
2) EMERGENCY INDUCTION PORT.....nuff said.
3) Killing Councilor Udina
4) Curing the Genophage and telling the Dele-whatsit to kiss it.
5) EDI joining the team.

Saddest Parts:
1) Thane's death - it was soo well done.
2) Legion and Kasumi not joining the team.
3) Miranda's death - totally didnt see it coming.
4) Mordin's death - him seeing "I am the very model of a modern major general" was pretty funny though...
5) Tali's face reveal. Now what does she REALLY look like.
6) The ending. I'll take cake and not death thank you very much....

Saddest moments for me were when Mordin died, when Anderson died(After TIM died), and at the end, just after the three ending options, before the relays explode. That little segment was emotional for me.

Happiest for me, honestly, was almost the entire game. The most significant happy moment I can pick out was before the final battle on Earth, when I heard Wrex addressing his troops. It hit me that no matter what, the Krogan had hope for a future, and Shepard/I had helped them get it. The endings kind of diminished that, but never the less, one of the most uplifting moments in the trilogy I can remember. 

Oh, and another great moment was when the conclusion of the geth/quarian plot, with peace between the two.

1) The moment when the Shroud distributes the Genophage cure was beautiful and brought a tear to my eye.

2) End of the Rannoch mission, when you spoke with the broken reaper and I got the Geth and Quarians to cooperate.

3) All the character interactions, especially: visiting Kaidan (Ashley died in my game) in the hospital, having target practice with Garrus on the top of the Presidium, sharing Liara's memories just before the final battle, chatting with a drunken Tali in the Normandy lounge. The character interactions in ME3 were much deeper and complex than in previous games I think.

Wait, here's a happy one: filling Udina's heart with bullet. Yes, bullet, because it only took one to fill up that tiny, shriveled little wretch.

I would have rathered fill his brain with bullet, but I'd need to size down to a BB pellet.

I haven't finished yet, but so far:

Most memorable: Tuchanka. Mother of Thresher Maws.
Happiest: The Garrus/Joker joke convo. Oh, and Jack trying not to swear in front of the kids
Saddest: Mordin's death. He sang Gilbert&Sullivan...

And although I'm not there yet, the absolute saddest of all, Legion's death. I wish there was a way he survives. Or at least, you take a piece of him and put it in your armor, like he did.

Most memorable: Mars mission, I loved the way they portrayed Mars. It was really atmospheric.

Femshep leaning forward against the wall after Thessia as the incoming call beacon rang. I felt that emotional weight.

Garrus/Femshep goodbye on Earth. Both of the goodbyes made me cry.

The ending choices after I realized that was the actual ending and not a mistake. Made me howl in rage at my TV and at the same time feel intense pain at what was such a miserable ending to an epic and iconic vid game character.

The last DLC of ME3 filled me with joy. Best DLC ever done in any vid game.
