The guide says there is, but doesn't give any details. My fastest playthroughs take a month, at least, so I'd like to know if it's any good before spending the extra time on it.

How does your fastest playthrough take that long?
My longest playthroughs of ME1/ME2 both lasted between 50-60 hours. I beat both of them in like 2 weeks. Skipped no dialogue, and did as many side missions as possible.
My fastest playthroughs (skipping nearly every cutscene and dialogue) last anywhere between 12-16 hours, depending on how many side missions I do.

Uh, they take that long because of family (kids), jobs, school, other priorities, etc. I can barely get in an hour a day during the work week, the weekend is a different story.

It's a combination of "I have other things to do" and "I love videogames, but they hurt my eyes if I play them for more than a couple hours at a time." My playthroughs can reach 100+ hours. So, just imagine how long that can take if I only play for 1-2 hours each day after release date.ebevan91 wrote...

edit to add: I'm also a completionist. I do every side mission, unless they really don't make sense for my character.

According to the guide its not an additional ending but an extra scene during it and in order the get it you have to buy a certain type of fish in ME2 and then keep said fish alive through ME2, ME3 and then ME3 NG+

Considering that keeping them alive is the biggest challenge in ME2 then it had better pay off! In ME2 when EDI said something along the lines of "No other lifeforms aboard" I immediately thought "What, my fish?! After all the trouble I went to to keep them alive?!"Cosmochyck wrote...

The guide calls that a "special reward". In the description before the spoiler alert, it refers to "new possibilities" and "a secret ending". I would hope the two are different things. Liara's intel bonus, whatever it is, doesn't sound like an ending choice.dmljr wrote...

Details of it, definitely should be in the Story forum. Discussing the existence of NG+ ending, I can see arguments both ways, but I don't personally feel it is.

I just finished the game, and I had a Galactic Readiness Score of 4787. I got a bonus ending after the credits rolled. I think this is the New Game + ending?

Not stupid. A lot of people feel that way. I haven't opened the game or MP since I finished.
I believe the "secret ending" is not that different from the original and can be gotten with an import game also, but I haven't experienced it and can't confirm that.
