I came here to post the same thing. Halo was originally billed as a trilogy, and the end of Master Cheif's story arc. That has since been changed and he is now involved in a new trilogy.

But ME3's ending doesn't leave for a new trilogy. It wouldn't be a Mass Effect game with no mass relays or space exploration.

I wouldn't even consider buying it until they fix the universe I love. Mass Effect died in the last 10 minutes of part 3

I am pretty sure people will still buy it but I want to see them do something completely different and go back to a more RPG core...their using the same mechanics in every game regarding the dialog system but i want to see them enter the world of Darksun ;p

I would do to ME4 what the first three games taught me to do with giant machines coming to take over the Earth (EA greed reference if you didn't get it). Assemble the known universe to fight it and then die after talking to SpaceGhostGod.

I expect James to be the next protagonist (backstory in upcoming anime, hints at being chosen for n7 program during ME3). That doesn't means I'll give a **** unless they show me they can end this trilogy properly before starting another. There's absolutely no way I'll stick in for another long haul like this one after Bioware has so clearly shown their incompence with ME3's ending.

Bioware can easily just say ME4 COMING SOON they can always just say it wasent a trilogy after all who knows maybe bioware has this up there sleeves but fi they do it would make me proud

As result of this romance, Miranda born baby Shepard son/daughter.

Each race was in need to build large space ships to travel back (in sleep pods) to their homeworld, as Shepard son/daughter your struggle to bring peace between former allies and discover secret of batarians - who build a mass relay and desire to destroy humanity.

Another case with femshep, but this can be done!!!!!
During alliance service the female Shepard donated to alliance health bank her ovum.
After Shepards death, Kaidan requested alliance military that he wants to be a father of Shepard child, this wish was granted.

I think this would be great story for ME4 !

 
If they did ME4, I would expect to see an entirely different setting, the way DA2 was set in a different place and time than DA:O. It would also be easier to see an entirely new cast, but with the occasional cameo of other characters.

It might be interesting to play through, but I would not be likely to buy such a game until 2+ months after release, if it has proven itself.

EPIC battles on every planet.

With 5 or 6 squad mates, fighting a lot of reapers.

And the most important thing : Vastly different endings in which our decisions really matters.

From the best outcome to the worst scenerio. ALL OF THEM.

I will pay another 40 USD for such an EPIC.

I don't care what the story might be. I probably will never buy a ME4 if there is one.

Now, here's what it would take to get me to buy it:

They claim they don't want to ruin their artistic vision. So, why not give us more customization options? That way their players get what they want and those that want to stick to this vision, can.

That's why we need:

1)body sliders. For a female character we need musculature to make our characters muscular, Dragon's Dogma is an excellent example.

2) I'm tired of the female chests looking like they are right on top of the abdomen. It's a game, they don't have to be big, but they look so much better if the top is no lower than an inch below the clavicle.

3)more and better hair options. Bioware's hair tends to look plastic, if we could get hair that isn't so glossy it would be a huge improvement. And longer hairstyles, Dragon's Dogma has pulled off some nice long hairstyles. One that drapes around the side of the neck and over the shoulders and another one that's a high ponytail that looks like something out of a samurai movie, why can't we get hair like that in a Bioware game?

4) Melee weapon(s). Actual melee weapons, like the blades wielded by those Cerberus female troops.

5) Helmet off 100% of the time. I don't care if you're in a hostile environment or not. I spent all this time making my character and now I can't even see their face 99% of the time because being in space means I have to see the helmet when obviously, I can tell they'd be wearing a helmet and I can pretend they have a helmet on. Not all of the people that play your games need them to be 100% realistic.

6) More and better Armor options. I know, this is very subjective. But more variety in the armor would help out a lot. Make some form fitting armor along with the "practical" armor. You'll get complainers, but they don't have to use them if they don't want to.

I would rather Shepard alive and IN Mass Effect 4 along with her crew and LI personally.

I was half expecting BioWare to follow the trilogy with Jimmy as the new protagonist, and I would have been alright with that, but as the current endings stand I honest can't see a ME4 a reality.

I expect it to be the last title released under Bioware's brand name. After that EA decides it's burned up all of its good name and does away with it.
