The firing delay should be removed from this rifle or Javelin power buffed. Firing delay makes it rather hard to head shot your enemies, especially the ones who like to move a lot.

The ability to see through smoke is neat, but essentially useless one.

Its fine. If you have a problem with the firing delay (which I don't) use the Widow.

Incisor blowwwws but I find the Raptor to be a close 2nd. As Elecbender said, Javelin shoots through walls, therefore if you're trying to headshot a moving target instead of blowing its head off while it's hiding in cover, you're doing it wrong.

If you treat the Raptor more like an Assault Rifle then it's ok...not great, but it manages.

Haven't really played with Sniper Rifles though.

The Graal shotgun and the Geth shotgun are awful. It's stupid that I have to come out of cover to charge it up. That makes these guns almost useless.

Geth shotgun is not awful. I think it's one of the best shotgun in MP.

Lol, I actually like the Javelin. Mostly since I can shoot enemies taking cover and with a damage bonus I'll one-shot most enemies with a body shot. It's great against guardians and really damages brutes.

You can shoot up to 2 enemies with a Javelin. You can even take down 2 guardians with 1 shot, ballistics shields and all.

As for the Graal, it's the best choice for long range shotgun hits and it deals a crapton of damage if you get headshots.

You know whats worse? Using a Scorpion and shooting at the enemy but instead of hitting them with the stickyshot it just flys through them espacially the Geth like to do that to me.

I DESTROY with the geth shotgun. You don't have to charge it and it's not always best to. Also what I love about it is the fact that the rounds will actually home in on a target if you have the little red box around it when firing. At range that feature works beautifully but up close you still have to lead your target if it's moving.

i tied using this and i soon realised it's not to be used as a sniper rifle but a semi auto AR

in ME2 it would barely move but in this game unless you're point blank you're lucky if 2 of the shots hit and because each shot is weak it require you to have all 3 hit

i just use it like a shotgun personally and spam the trigger, that's the only decent way i've got it to work

Definetly. Incisor is imo the only sniper rifle that needs rebalancing. The Raptor is the sniper version of the Mattock in case you want to use another AR with it and it's not bad if you use it like you'd use the Mattock. But the Incisor is absolutely terrible, the Vindicator AR is superior in every way.

Incisor really needs its recoil reduced or its damage buffed signifiicantly, it's almost impossible to get all 3 shots onto one target and you need to get all those shots to hit to do any damage, and even then it'll take two or more bursts to take down event he most basic enemies.

If your looking for a new sniper, try getting the M-99 Saber and sticking a scope and damage mod on it. I did that with my Infiltrator and it was awesome. It was easy enough getting head shots with it from cover without a scope, with a scope, it's just head shot after head shot. And since it's an assault rifle, it has a larger clip and can be used in up close combat.

the javelin has better penetration than the widow. as long as you can see a purple outline you can hit the enemy even behind a wall. its themo imaging is only really effective versus cerberus since theyre the only enemy that creates smoke to block your vision. havent taken note if it detects invisible though. I say its better than the mantis but not as good as any of the widow rifles. It doesnt really deserve its place as a ultra-rare weapon except for novelty value.

it does detect the invisables!

i saw a phantom and it went invisable but i thought hey lets look for the shimmer but lo behold there was a grey shadow in the form or a phantom!
