So when does the ending come? Like what quest is it? When you enter illusive man's base?

Also When do you know you have maxed out you combact effectiveness? My green bar looks like it is right at the end but i wish to make sure.

Also no spoilers just yes or no,please; if you have to elaborate.

Your combat effectiveness is "maxed" when the War Assets window tells you your chances are "even". That's what I think, anyway. Won't know for sure until someone pulls apart the numbers and such like with the Suicide Mission in ME2.

The ending comes when you attack the Illusive Man's base.

after the illusive mans base, you then do the last mission which is taking back earth

Im heading into his base right now, with my bar all the way at the end but it doesnt say even.

you can, but you cant go to any systems,

err. after you do the TIMs base, you manually  choose to go the Earth, or other systems just no the citadel

I think you should stop playing after the mission in Cerberus base.

Yeah, having the bar all the way up isn't good enough.

I wouldn't sweat it, though. The ending's bad even if you do have enough War Assets.

Alright I have my effective military strength at 3050 and it says Troops assisting in a final push will have a strength of 3050. Chances of success are even. Is that good enough?

You need at least 4000 to have a shot at the "best" ending. But my advice is not to rush to the end. Enjoy the game while it lasts.

What is the number for the chievement ending? I want that dang achievement

I have 6100 total but military wise of 3050.

also i didnt rush it 30hrs of side quests.
