These were tracked through ME2 but didn't really come up.
Are they relevant at all in ME3? I played through but...whirl wind of emotion and terrible endings distracted me from recollecting if they are mentioned.
I got the peice from the consort and found the sphere in my main playthrough

It seems like Kasumi has stolen the relic from your quarters before leaving the Normandy. It could cost a small fortune

It feels like they scraped whatever idea they had in ME1 and ME2 and decided to wing it on ME3. That worked out really well for them.
