have to pick the path on the left, where you shoot the thingymabobber
Which raises the important question.
...What the hell is that thing? You mean to tell me I could've just walked into this part of the Citadel, planted a bomb, and the Reapers would have just blown up?

You have 4000+ effective assets or total assets? Becasue the 4k threshold is for the former, not for the later.

"Destroy" is the only option you can choose to have Shep survive.
Control is arguably survival. At least your consciousness survives (though this is subject to interpretation). Only your body is destroyed.

Screw that. I'd rather die than kill EDI.Greed1914 wrote...
Yep, Destroy saves Shepard, but at the cost of EDI and the Geth. Such fun.

My total military strenght is 5034 so shepard should survive
I can be wrong but it is more than 1000 points less than my game. Perhaps this is it...

The fact they we have to make that choice disgusts me. Most people will destroy the Geth and EDI. The Geth are one of the most interest races in the game. It makes the entire Geth/Quarian peace push entirely pointless. And makes the emotional moment where Legion sacrifices himself completely worthless.Greed1914 wrote...

I have the strategy guide. You have to destroy the Reapers and have an EMS of 5000.Aligalipe wrote...

That's why I chose the control ending. Hopefully Shepard's consiousness still exists within the Reaper collective, 'cuz otherwise they'll be back in a few centuries to finish us off I expect.
