i vote for Aria being a squaddie in ME3 =Dprsquared wrote...
This is probably about a dlc involving Aria, which is surely coming.

and maybe a love interest? I'll settle for squadmate.
Also back to the topic at hand. I once thought that a new ending was needed then I watch this.
It made sense and the clues all added up.

If you don't want to register your game you are opting not to discuss the ending here. Your choice.

I just want an epilogue DLC which tell me what the hell happened after the crucible is fired. The fate of the squadmates and the consequence of the three choices.

This is what needs to be fixed, an epilogue will do nothing but allow them to get away with releasing an incomplete game.

One thing to note is that having a war asset of 4000+ gives you a 20 sec clip at the end if you destroyed the reapers. However, I never reached that number. 2nd play through maybe.
Honestly, I would just happy to watch a cut screen on the ME3 website explaining the outcome of our choices. Or I'll wait for the youtube video. Not buying DLC.

Vasarkian, I agree that the ending feels incomplete. No arguments there.

But that's just using assets as a number generator, that's like saying if you played for 4000 straight minutes that you get it or that if you have 4000 kills you get it. Any number measure system could of been implemented for that.
Assets aren't nameless or faceless things even if they used Alliance images for Asari things and paid little attention to the assets to the point they forgot to add 700 - 800 points of them for the "optimal" ending. Also, the 20 second scene after has already been seen by everyone and it didn't require 4000 points it required a new game plus.
The issue is that the fleets and the armies didn't matter at any point in the game be it the planets or the stations or the fight, and so they could ignore that huge fleets may potentially be assisting and thus focus on the color of the beam.

Unless the knew saga is set entirely on earth (Which wouldn't feel like mass effect), or some scientist pulls something out their butt(Which would be a cheesy plot device), or set millenia from now, it would makes no sense.
If however their plans were to give us the indoctrination effect, and later give us the rest it might fix things. Still not sure how they would expand on the series though to tell you the truth.
Certainly will be interesting to see how they plan to expand on the series.

A game that is supposedly based on choices is reduced to a pathetic linear conclusion with absolutely no regard for anything that's gone before. A game whose endings are effectively the same, provide no closure, damage the franchise immensely and manage to whip their devoted fans into a frenzy.
ME3 should have had endings to account for all fans, thats what I personally want. From happy endings right through to doomsday scenarios. Not contrived nonsense that has been done more effectively before. I wanted the hundreds of hours I've invested in different playthroughs to be different, not end up exactly the same way. Linear endings might be fine for other games but for a series that emphasises choice, consequence and decision-making, its just awful.
I'm not ashamed to admit I wanted a happy ending as an OPTION but we don't get anything close to that. We get some amibigious psuedo-religious gibberish with more plot holes than a wheel of Swiss cheese.
If Bioware truly decided that this ending was satisfactory for such an amazing series, it does really enhance doubts about any future games and franchises for me. I've loved you guys ever since Baldur's Gate but seriously, feel like you've not only knocked me down but are kicking me repeatedly.
I can only hope you guys have something up your sleeve else you'll leave alot of devoted fans extremely disappointed and disillusioned.

They also said this game was going to be a lot more light hearted than ME2.
They also said that the endings would provide closure.
If they hold their fanbase in high regard like they say they do, they will fix the ending somehow.
If they just ignore all this anti-ending stuff going on in their own forums, then they will lose the respect of many.
Why should they respect anything the forums have to say?
People in here have been the whiniest bunch of complainers Ive ever seen since way back to when ME2 first came out.

What if the "real" ending is already inside of the game; just waiting to be unlocked by BioWare? Then it wouldn't be a dlc.

What if Bioware didn't screw up (gasp!) and everything is going according to plan? They've stated that they aren't going to make a real statement about the ending until more people have played all the way through. If you go and study the final scenes, you'll notice some similarities and glaringly obvious inconsistencies that are so mindbogglingly obvious that no one in their right mind would accept them as correct. Key words: No one in their right mind. There's been some theories (perhaps previously mentioned here) that Shepard was dreaming from the moment he was hit by the Reaper beam right through to the very end. I believe that all of this is part of Bioware's master plan to give fans an experience as close to indoctrination as possible in the ending, and that they're going to release the real, final ending after more people have finished the game.
Anybody who's interested should check out these expositions:
Here's a great document that does an in depth analysis of all of the inconsistencies/proof that the final scenes didn't actually happen:

Also, for those who don't like a lot of reading, here's a video that takes a closer look:
Another great breakdown here, it's kinda long but I thought it was interesting:
