From the reaper artifact at Shanxi(?)(And mostly after he touches at Ben), Rofl.

Well, the old days when Jack were a good person, obviously.

Of course many would not be happy, but I think the (vocal?) majority of fans would begin to build a shrine dedicated to worship Bioware for eternity...

I hope this is what would happen, although I fear there would still be a backlash, especially if the DLC is paid. If it's paid I'll still buy it, but I'll certainly look very closely at future BioWare games before I buy them, in case they're trying to screw me out of more money just to finish the game again.

If it's free, however, then hand me the bricks and mortar and I'll be the first in line to build that shrine (rhymes).

Well, if this, as I still have some hopes for, was already planned from the start and therefore a finished Addon/DLC waits for us, then the chances are quite good it was already part of the budget and could be made available for free. In terms of PR this would be the best move, of course...

If they simply declare that some clarification-ending will be released because the vocal minorty wanted it...then I think they will definately charge for it, as it was never intened to be part of the game anyway and only costed money...

The backlash, however, has already happened. And I think much worse than Bioware had originalyl hoped for. But you can hardly ever please all fans anyway. I guess this might be what they thought...

Hmm...how long till this PAX-Event? So long still? Oh my...Posted Image

Going by the story, TIM was indoctrinated by the reapers, which he does realize if you paragon him. Perhaps the technology (which it seems the reapers allowed him to have) allowed him to control humans, same way it allowed him to control humans-turned-husks (aka reaper forces).

Or perhaps controlling the reapers means you can control anything you want.

Then again the artifact from back in the day could have something to do with it. Although I haven't read too much about it, so I don't know how much that affected TIM.

your point is noted. But.. bioware's games.. possible glaring plot holes and bad writing (according to anti IDT) they're all still good games. Not many bugs or gameplay issues. The majority of games that come out are crappy.. very few are at a level anywhere close to biowares games.

Just my opinion. I also think there will be a backlash. Regardless people are gonna find a way to be upset. But I highly doubt they're going to make us pay for that dlc. I don't see many people buying it if they do. (I will..) because I don't really care either way.

Honestly i think TONS of people would buy it, they may not like it but they would buy it.... *grumble grumble* "I cant believe they are making me pay for this." *pulls out credit card* "Those greedy Bioware bastards!"

I hope no one has posted this before, but that seems intresting:

Klencory is a rock and ice planet with an atmosphere composed of chlorine and argon. The frozen surface is mainly composed of potassium with deposits of iron.
Klencory is famously claimed by the eccentric volus billionaire Kumun Shol. He claims that a vision of a higher being told him to seek on Klencory the "lost crypts of beings of light." These entities were supposedly created at the dawn of time to protect organic life from synthetic "machine devils."

Shol has been excavating on Klencory's toxic surface for two decades, at great expense. No government has valued the world enough to evict his small army of mercenaries.

His once-ridiculed visions of "beings of light" protecting organic life from synthetic "machine devils" don't seem quite so far-fetched now. His private army of mercenaries are well-established on the planet, waiting for husks to come knocking in on their door. In all likelihood, they will be obliterated by the molten metal of a Reaper orbital bombardment, on its way to somewhere important.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but its nice to see items on this thread also getting pointed out in more public forums. Looks like Bioware is about to mind-f#@k people with their long-game tactics, both across the series and with the IT in this game.

http://kotaku.com/58...-five-years-ago

I wonder if they are going to sell the game for half-off when they announce the additional content just so those people who sold back their games can rebuy them.

oh, thanks.

and that term would then be indoctrination? still sounds far fetched to me.

but another thing i just found:

I am pretty sure, there are no prior reports of such abilities (at least in the games). After all, they wouldn't even need to shoot people then - they could just make them jump off a cliff.

About TIM story (Jack Harper): http://masseffect.wi...fect:_Evolution

Its a kinda long story, so, get a Pizza to read it.

But about controlling, doesnt know it. Just saying that Jack had touched someone that had effect of the artifact (Monolith) itself.

If you don't recruite garrus in ME1 you still end up with him in ME2, he's still archangel and its plays out the same.  Of course you could still have him killed in ME 2 though, not sure how the ME3 story plays out without him.  Who doesn't want Garrus though?!?!

Or they could take people on a guided tour to Rannoch. I heard it has cliffs particularly suitable for jumping off ;)

I don't see how the kid could be a "being of light" when he actually CREATED the Reapers, so why would he protect organics from the "synthetic devil machines" (sounds a lot like the Reapers to me..)
