I was actually asking if you recall seeing that type of plant in another place in ME3.

Just checked. The assets are definitely not used on Sur'Kesh.

I believe I read somewhere that some of the dream textures were reused for the Sanctuary mission. I have no idea if this is true, just thought I had read that somewhere.

I'm sure this may have been brought up but near the end on the Galaxy map did anyone else notice there are unmarked systems with reapers floating over them? Could that indicate there is yet to be unlocked data on the console discs? It may merely be an initial set up for dlc though...

Yeah, I noticed this when I was reviewing if I had explored every star system. I thought it was odd to say the least.

Yes they are stubs for DLC.

I watched the final hours (iPad app) and right at the start it talks about the scene with Ashley being dropped off by Shepard after she gets attacked.

The amount of detail is insane. If she's your love interest, he does it with more care and is more delicate. Now THAT is detail.

So if that level of detail that most people will miss is in the game... I'm very, very certain that the ending was thought of pretty carefully, including all the little details.

i know Shepard can't really have a happy ending with all his/her friends alive, and he/she is there alive and well. But come on Bioware give Commander Shepard a spectacular death that will tear the fans apart, and just to ****** everyone off have on option let Shepard live but he, or she will have to lose his,or her love interest to live.

I know this was brought up earlier in the thread, and I believe the unmarked systems were determined to be there due to a mundane, practical reason that I cannot recall.

EDIT: Also in regards to the texture thing - it's not as if Bioware doesn't have enough flora textures. Why use the dream plants explicitly?

Why not if they liked them? Nobody spends even a second thinking "Geee, I wonder if fans will extract files to see what are the names of the plants on Jungle planet". Seriously, no dev/artist overthinks art-reusage unless it's jarring "like highly unique specific texture". Especially when it's something like plants. Who here spent even a second looking at plants in dream sequences?

I am sorry about this, you are totally right. The textures are used in the BioA_Nor_600Dream.pcc file. I didn't notice them in the dream due to the lighting. Totally my bad. However, we still haven't found them outside the dreams.

Hmm any similarities to Jacob's loyalty mission, Zaeed's loyalty mission or maybe on Sur'Kesh? Kinda reminded me of those planets.

I look at those plants and I think of the big chunk of flora we see before the crashed normandy comes into view.  Are they in the dreams?

I imagine it's because they appear in ME2 and are relays that you need to pass through before getting to the actual relay you need to get to. Though those systems are not needed in this game... but they still needed to include the detail so it matches ME canon and previous ME galaxy maps.

Maybe Bioware will let Shepard kiss his, or her love interest one last time before Shepard dies, or have your love interest kiss your Shepard right when the Crucible firers, and may kill the Reapers, or everything in the Galaxy. In the new DLC they are coming up with, or already have.

That flora is what appears to be fig leaves (or similar) that are covering 'the garden of eden'. It's a metaphor and I don't believe they appear anywhere else - not of that metaphorical significance anyway.

I thought they were just there at the end to show you that, yeah, the Reapers are taking over freakin' everywhere by that point.

Hmmm, just had a thought. When is the last dream sequence played?

Is it before you hit the Cerberus base, or before the Earth sequence?

I ask because there is a slight possibility that the entire end game on Earth is not actually happening if the latter is the case.

It'll explain that teleporting beam of light that also makes no sense when you think about it. Or why the damn citadel was moved to Earth (that I also don't get to this day).

EDIT: Dang, it's before the base. So ignore that.

I say Shepard will wake up, and will walk all jacked up, and heroic, and will kill every Reaper with big ****** gun, and will mount Haby's head to the font of the Normandy, that would say " I AM COMMANDER SHEPARD.AND ALL WHO OPPOSES ME WILL LOSE THEIR ******* HEADS" After that you and your squad/crew have a big bome firer on the beach telling story's about Saren and the good old days, and all the people that gave up their lives to help protect the galaxy from the Reapers. And will live out their lives happly for once, and Shepard will retiare with his, or her love intrest and will have kids of their own.

THE END!

Is there a reason why the citadel can't use the mass relay that I don't know about? lol

@golferguy

the one where you said it would be awesome for indoc shepard to go up against his team mates?

didnt realize that was an aswer to my question. sorry for that again. oh, and i have to say, it would be. cause then you know you did something wrong. this would only make sense in an anikin skywalker kinda way, were there point of view is suddenly evil, and i think we already had that moment, when we had the stand down with ashley.

also, i already accepted that we wont see eye to eye on the only one ending thing, so i have raised the next question: if it really continues from there, why restart the game and not say ... wait for it.. wait for it... DLC!

crap, you just answered my question right before i posted.

but, if the breathing scene is the ... to be continued... why do i get that only when i chose red?

at least you are agreeing with me on the "not finished game" part. which in my eyes, makes your argument about people being angry if they instantly found out about it non sense. since what you are actually saying is, bioware tricks its fans so they wont get angry right away. and then, when they figured it all out, the give us dlc so we wont also get angry afterwards. i dont think either one is ok. an unfinished game isnt, and you saying they did it on purpose ... well, i dont like that either. find it pretentious. what do you know about their intentions?

uhh... that sounded a little harsh. i dont mean anything by it. sorry.

had to repost, so i get noticed. i want attention!!!

@thomas shepard

thats a sound logic, but i had all the missions already. so all i could do was wait around, like you said, right there, or do the final mission again. so why send me back if i have all the missions done already? well, i tell you: because the upcoming dlc was ment to be another normal mission. like getting another squad mate or some hammerheading, an overlord maybe. a shadow broker if we are lucky. and not the real ending, like you think.

1) in a previous post you asked what movies you took to be continued..... to be conluded and the end? from, it was the BTTF movies.
2) I think they throw you back before the cerberus mission so that if you don't have the war assets you can try and get the ones that are still available. IE if you don't have 4000/5000 to get the "waking up in rubble" clip you're too screwed to keep fighting, maybe they'll have an ending just for those special people with you waking up on earth as the reapers destroy everything and harvest people. Basically what you see in the ending but with more closure.

I myself am all for a hunting down or back stabbing your crew if you're indoctrinated and continuing the fight to the finish if you wake up on earth after fighting off the indocrination attempt.

Some people don't like being tricked, they just cant handle it or something. It messes with their pride maybe? I feel like 99% of people who argue against the IT and don't give examples of why we are wrong, are those kind of people..

Bioware has a team of professional writers that spend years coming up with this stuff, of course they tricked you! Some people just shouldn't take it so hard, and of course no one would EVER admit to this but you see my point

Sorry just had to rant after reading some peoples random trolling...

You see corpse piles made from Ashleys and Kaidans all over the place before The Beam. Do you also see the same corpse piles while you run to the beam? I can't remember...

Yet with the endings having destroyed the Mass Relays how can they make it to the DLC? Unless IT is right of course ;)

Of all of them, this one shows the shaded edges the best, but as I said
before, it's far from great without it being video. Certainly less
defined than what's in 3. If anyone has a save from just before that
fight, I'd highly recommend going through it again, just to see the
wavering. Stills just can't do it justice.

so wait- the reaper leader/creator of the reapers is sending messages to a volus billionaire to start mining on a useless planet so that the so-called being of light can protect him from the "machine devils" he created. Circular logic yet again.

Is it wrong that I want to hear an indoctrinated volus? I think it'd be funny to see the pudgy little bastard sing the praises of Cthulu while stopping to suck in air every other word. Does that make me a bad person?

If it helps any, the pillar thingie for the control ending is in fact named "End_Choice_BadA_01". ... I really don't know how that doesn't get more attention. I had to turn off the fire alarms because I thought the smoking gun was about to set them off.
