I think it's been mentioned before, but it is strange. You would expect them to be knocked backwards, not pulled forwards.

It looks like the same type of trees and bushes to me.  I still believe in the IT but at least for me the "dream trees" appearing after being hit evidence is inconclusive.

I've always thought that using "the trees" as *AHEM* "Evidence" was a flimsy case. I don't even acknowledge it as a potential indicator.

I always took it as it not being about the trees themselves, but rather that there aren't any in the center of the runway before Harbinger's beam, but then there are two right behind you afterwards (and the fact that there is nothing around it for quite a distance makes it easier to identify); one taller and on the right, the other shorter and on the left. If it did mean anything (this is me delving into a bit of subliminal psychology), it could represent the final dream with phantom Shepard on the right and Starkid on the left burning (but I think that could be extrapolating a little too much). The positioning may or may not be different, as I cannot find a screen of the final dream.

It's not an important piece of "evidence," but I still think it has its value.

LOL, we should totally adopt a BioWare policy for people who come in here only to bash the IT.

"Thanks for your feedback! What else did you like about the game?"

Not, it needs to be

"Thanks for your feed back! What was your favorite part of IT?"

Yeah, I say that all of us reply this next time someone comes in to complain about IT. I will if I'm online, lol :P

Edit:
I mean, these trolls come in, say 'lol IT is wrong because of XYZ'
We end up posting 10 pages countering it
and the troll is never seen again, wasting our time :(

i just dont want to go off all half cocked when idt is finally proven wrong. it could happen any minute that you guys find the proof you are not looking for, and then i would look more like an ass as usual for rubbing it in your faces, when you have already came to the right conclusion.

also since no one answered me when i asked about the youtube colors. i found the solution myself. its a linux/nvidia/vdpau problem. not that easy to google though. i just wanted to mention this, cause i suspect no one answered me, cause they thought i was trolling again, which i was not.

The Indoctrination Theory is false. You know why? Because I said so....

No I'm just kidding. I've been following this thread since it started and I love how it's still going and no one is giving up. If it turns out that it is not true, then I will fall off my chair and never play a video game again. It's already hard to play them as it is.

My name is Mayra Shepard and I have been Indoctrinated. Well actually no since I did pick destroy without knowing on my own...but you guys know what I mean :)

actually, if my suspicions had been correct, it would really have been awesome.

see, all my youtube videos are either in a red, green or blue filter, but the commercials before the actual videos start, are fine. so i really thought, youtube didnt like the endings either. i tried to google it, but try to find something useful with the words "youtube colors red green blue?".

I just realized something after having played the ending through again.

when Shepard gets hit by Harbinger's beam, s/he is still pretty far away from the beam itself. Not just by a small margin, but by a quite large one actually.
However, when Shepard wakes up, s/he's pretty much right in front of the beam that takes him/her to the citadel, which I find quite weird.

Any thoughts?

That has been mentioned before.  It's another one of those things that makes you go "Hmmm."

I'm playing through Me2 right now and i just hit the reaper IFF mission. so going through I'll write some bits about the logs that seem important to IT

-the first one the guy says he feels like the walls are coming down on him.

-the second log talks about one of the scientists staring at samples collected, his reasoning is "he is listening to them"

-the third log shows two scientists arguing about their memories. They both have memories of being married to the same women and doing the same things. Evidence to support the theory that reapers can in fact screw with your memories.

- in the fourth log the same two scientists comlaining about headaches, one of them sees a grey figure appear out of the wall

-fifth log a scientist talks about the reaper being dead and still dreaming, at the end he says "I can close my eyes and feel it, feel everyone" or something along those lines

i dont think there are any more

Hmm ... I don't go to Chinese restaurants to tell them that they'd rather make Wiener Schnitzel, but then, maybe we are just very different.

Anyway, I should go (and sleep).

ill try to explain this quickly, if i may.

the run / limp are two seperate levels. that should also explain the trees you are trying to hang yourselfs on.

this should actually be made more clear by the fact that you can read "loading" on your screen instead of being able to get up instantaniously.

Yeah it might be two different levels, but we'd assume they'd follow on similarly.
Like, if my Shepard walked along a road, though a loading point and then the next level loaded, I'd expect there to be a clear road behind. If all of a sudden a building appeared behind him, then it would look odd.

If I'm thinking about what you're talking about, you jump off a ledge don't you? Like, down onto the area you run, so that's why there is a wall?
