Only BioWare knows that right now. The rest is speculation. That will hopefully be something they will clarify.

Lol it is simply hilarious how highly you think of yourself. If you watch the leaving earth scene instead of babbling on about speculation and how you feel about theories you should totally do yourself a favor.
The alliance soldier can be seen helping a civillian on board. Why would he not do the same for a ****ing kid?
It's pretty obvious to see that the alliance forces are based off North American militaries (canada,USA) I'm pretty sure it's safe to say they'd like to make that as real as possible. And since the writers use a great deal of realistic material (scientific, biblical, etc) it's not unreasonable at all that they'd like to demonstrate a soldiers honor.

Sorry bud but no soldier would ever dismiss that kid and not help him up. Especially since the kid is right in front of two soldiers. And if you can find an argument other than it's all speculation I'd like to see it.

The kid is not ****ing real.. end of story.. indoctrination theory or not.

But, fair enough. Just do some stretches before returning to the mental gymnastics.

If you're willing to have a reasonable discussion, I think there are lots of people who would be interested in it.  I think that the ending is almost certainly not what it seems, but I'm not wedded to the idea of IDT.  It just happens to be the best explanation given what we know.  But I'm certainly willing to hear counter-arguments.  You, on the other hand, seem only to be interested in insults and potshots.

At least this topic present a chance for hope for the game. Assumign people don't bring in just off the wall pieces of information to try and prove it. I, as well as most of the reasonable people here, know that nothign is a fact until Biwoare confirms it. just as it's not untrue until they deny it.

Just whining about everything else is just wasted effort. But, hey, to each their own I suppose.

There is a whole article on it here.

Essentially, you need to be exposed to Reaper materials (such as artifacts). These artifacts generated fields that slowly change an organic's thinking to be sympathetic towards whatever the Reaper wants.

Note that Shepard has quite a large amount of contact with Reaper style materials (the largest being Object Rho).
