A major expansion.. like 6-10 hours of gameplay added will have a price tag definitely. The ending dlc I'm assuming will be free depending on how big it is. IMO an expansion like awakening makes the most sense.. it seems to be the only logical explanation for cutting out the ending (if it was cut) they merely wanted to draw things out. But if they just merely cut a 30 minutes to 1 hour part of the game to put out as DLC.. that's just wrong.
Well, I would love another 10 hours of gameplay (took about 40 for the game we currently have), but my gut feeling tells me that won't happen. I'd rather expect 1.5 - 2 hours of "finish the fight" gameplay.
And then, of course, Omega DLC, additional multiplay map DLC, new fish DLC, toys for space hamster DLC ...

Me either. But here is an interesting tidbit from the same myth: Originally there were 10 labors, 2 were "thrown out" because Eurystheus thought Hercules cheated. One of the labors he chucked out was cleaning the Augean stables (the 5th labor) because Hercules accepted payment for the job. He added two extra labors as a result, the trip to the Underworld to deal with Cerberus was one of the extra labors. Anyway, most of what is here on this thread is fun to talk and think about and I am enjoying my time here.

The thought that they were cables never crossed my mind because they are too straight/stiff. I had always thought it was rebar, the most common identification on this thread.

Than I still want to know why they decided to cut out the end from the ACTUAL game, it just makes no logical sense, only from the bussiness's perspective.
Btw, interessting thing I found on the Theory Crafting Forum:
Id like to add another thing about the soundtrack. I've already pointed out that the end song "An End, Once and For All" definately doesn't sound like an ending, it finishes by building up to something. Now consider the names on the track.

Betrayal? Creation? Why are they located after the end and the credits? My guess is they are related to upcoming continuation of the ending, either left there by mistake or as a clue.

Not so sure about Betrayal, but the "Creation" audio is from the Creation screen, when you're naming your Shep and whatnot.
Edit: Too slow.

The fight with Cerberus is the 12th and final labor set out by his (Hercules) arch-nemesis Eurystheus. You see Hercules had committed a terrible (driven to madness by the jealous wife of Zeus, Hercules murdered his own children) "crime" (Shepard ie: Akuze, Elysium, Torfan, psychological profiles), to atone for this crime Hercules visited the Oracle of Delphi (Shepard "visits" Eden Prime and encounters the Beacon), and was counseled to report to King Eurystheus (Hercules arch-nemesis), where he was set on the 12 labors to atone for his crime. For Shepard his arch-nemesis is TIM. Hercules, for most of his life, had been in thrall to Eurystheus, the completion of his labors would set him free. For Shepard perhaps the hold of indoctrination (if you don't like indoctrination think "pride") Herecules 12 labors are like fetch quests for the most important pieces of information and technology throughout the trilogy. In the end when Hercules drags Cerberus back to Eurystheus, Eurystheus is so afraid of Hercules he goes into hiding forever. This is a thread for speculation, however, and in the spirit of that, I thought it would be stimulating to bring out one of the most heroic metaphors in Western culture.
Western? Does Greece count as western? I suppose it's not really eastern but... Well, anyways, I'd definitely classify Hera as Hercules' arch-nemesis rather than King Eurystheus. Also, I'd like to add that the Cerberus station where TIM was, which you raid right before Earth, was called Cronos Station. While I'm sure you know since you went into such detail on that, I'll mention for the readers who have forgotten their Greek mythology that Cronos, a titan, was Zeus' father. And thus Hercules' grandfather. I wonder how that factors in. If at all.

Oh, and too lazy to do another quote, but "betrayal" plays when your Shepard is a John Holmes level dick. Like shooting Mordin in the back. With the gun Mordin gave him as a sign of trust. Horrible, horrible Shepard. Gives me a little bit of faith in humanity that the scene is so seldom seen that people think the music isn't in the game.

Cronos was killed by Zeus and his two brothers Hades and Poseidon =).
Hercules was the most loved son of Zeus and the most hated by Hera. And Greece mythologie is sure typical western mythologie stuff =).
But if you look around most planets, stations and stuff in space are somhow named after gods or creatures from various mythologies or religions.. (that's even normal at our time) so the moons of Mars (roman name for Ares) are named after his sons Phobos and Deimos (gods of fear abd Terror) so I would interpret to much into the names given.
