They could say that scene never happened, then put the full uncut dialogue in the game as the actual scene

That dialogue is so good.  Why did they cut it?

I believe they thought it slowed the pacing down too much. I guess they were eager to get to the pinnacle of storytelling that is the godchild

I mean the logic is there, this is probably a genious evil plan from the start, they are super smart they know how to wage war and why not create a big trap if the galaxy would unite a b plan if citadell dont work as in me series. And eliminate a large chunk of the best enemy forces whom believe in their desperation this might work and they will win but is was a trap from the start!?

''Hey, here's an incredible scene with your long time friend Andy!.... Well know that you're done crying over his death, will give you something else to cry about!'' *starchild appears*..

I think it's 'cause it was so damn depressing. It's epic and then you get to the top of the Citadel and the godchild basically takes a crap on Anderson's grave.

I mean come on, the crucible fits perfectly into the citadel, and WHO built the citadel. Well this isn't conclusive that it's reaper involvement, it's still super fishy.

There's another interesting thought, it does fit perfectly and the star child doesnt act like the crucible is something new or unplanned for.  Also, if the Crucible fits like that and it was designed by alien races NOT Reapers, you'd have thought that they would have mentioned a way to enter the console needed or mentioned that location where the light beam connects the two.  Why do we not know about that location on the Citadel and why does the conduit from Earth beam you to that location?  It's either all a crazy hallucination/dream or the Reapers had this planned out all along and the Crucible is not what it seems to be.

Whatever the Crucible really does, I don't think it's to make the organic forces to gather in one place. That's actually the last thing the Reapers want. They'd rather have a long, drawn out battle with fewer casualties. That's why they initially backed off Palaven. The turians weren't backing down no matter what and while the turians obviously took far greater loses they did bring down enough capital ships to make the Reapers back off the pure frontal assault and take a more siege warfare type of strategy.

Actually, funny story about Palaven. For you guys that don't read the codexes extensively... this was so awesome. You may remember that Reapers let indoctrinated VIPs ride in them. Well when Reapers on Palaven opened their doors, the turian insurgents took full advantage. The smuggled warp bombs (whatever the hell those are) and nuclear weapons inside of all the Reapers they could. Then detonated them all at once so the Reapers couldn't send some indoctrinated in to find and remove them. That's just... they smuggled nuclear weapons inside the Reapers. OMG. I love that so much that congress should be worried about me trying to marry it. I wish they'd have shown us those metal Cthulu bastards popping like balloons.

if IT is real then that would mean the battle is still raging and shepard wakes up still in london, the normandy and its crew would still be okay and the geth/synthetic life and the relays would still be alright.
and then we'd still have to fight the reapers.

/agreed,
But I doubt there will be a continuation of this battle for us (the players) in any form (DLC). I am thinking we really have to deal with the information we already have and perhaps a little more clarification from Bioware but no DLC that allows us to fight after Shep awakes.

Ah, heck this is all speculation yes, but I thik we are real close to what BW 'meant'... if I may hope so  Posted Image.

Speculation is what BW wants.. no matter how many DLC they will release.. they will give you more clues or hints, but will never release the "truth" because that owuld defeate their "clever" idea of making people speculate.... honestly, discussing how brilliant the game was, would have made better forum topics than constant rage/hate topics.

Let's say the IT is true, than it would be stupid from Bioware not to tell the truth about the ending and only give clues and hints. They will also get a lot of hate if they plan to do that, because than still the question remains if the reapers get destroyed.

If IT was true, then they would only give you more clues to make it sound mroe possible.... they want you to say "Oh, but did he? Did he not?" Instead they got "FU BW".

If they tell you the truth, the game will be forgotten quickly, instead being vague will make you talk about it for years to come. (At least that's what they said they wanted)

I don't think people forget an awesome story like this quickly, just look at Harry Potter, no vague ending and still popular even when it's 5 years old (books not films).

Sorry, but it's also used in places like Sanctuary too.  They just made the plants for the dreams first I guess and named them as such.  Then they got reused at other places.

Why would they call the object dream if they use it in Sanctuary, and do you have proof of this object being used in Sanctuary?

Btw. the package name is even called End.

This was around like 400 pages ago, and every time it's posted the same questions follow. No it's not a fake, yes it's been verified by posters before downloading the software that trawls through these files. No, it doesn't prove the end sequence is a dream.

I mean, it's almost as if, in this thread, there is a cycle that inevitably will repeat itself. Where have I heard this dren before?

It's because a lot of people don't follow this topic since the beginning and don't want to read like a thousand pages.

PLEASE ADD TO THE OP:

This is the definite nail that solidifies the theory into a fact: The post-processing shader at the end.  This starts as soon as you become consious after the Harbinger's laser hit, and does not end until it shows the RUBBLE. Take a look, I call it the glaucoma effect because the corners of the screen are darkened (black) is only used in one other type of scene -- your dreams with the boy. This appears to be very conclusive that this is no longer a theory -- it is fact that the developers made an obvious attempt to demonstrante the simularity of the scenes and the state at which they are in (dream).

You don't need to read the whole thing, just browse around a bit. Still, your excuse is fair enough but this guy:
