I agree. But I also put quotes around "rebar" because honestly that stuff, or something similar, seems to be sticking out of everything. But I do think Shepard never left London, why I don't know, isn't that the reason we are all here to begin with?

Why does Shepard suddenly have no armor during the final sequence?

Got hit by a 10,000 Watt laser, kinda like how an ant loses it's legs and antenae when you focus light on it with a magnifying glass...

1) Bioware has never been that clever in their story telling; its always been very straight forward character based story telling with very little interpretation. I honestly can't believe their writers had the skill to plant that many clues.

Which BioWare games have you played?

Control you touch the beams and disintegrate
Control looks to be the most painful.
Control the kid stares at you
Control your eyes turn blue and become corrupted
You drop your gun of infintite ammo

Synthesis you dive whole body into the beam
Synthesis the kid is not shown
Synthesis looks painless
Synthesis your eyes turn blue and become corrupted but you do not disintegrate
You drop your gun of infinite ammo

Destroy you blow up the tube
Destroy the kid disappears immediately
Destroy doesnt look painful
Destroy you never drop you gun of infinite ammo
Destroy your eyes turn reddish brown

But his clothing underneath and his skin was too powerful for the laser?

Layers of armor and kinteic barriers may have protected from the blast. Also, you're not directly hit by the beam. At least, not on screen. It kind hits in front of you. If you got hit directly, you'd be vaporized.

Can't see the icons under my avatar? + KOTOR; Jade Empire and Neverwinter nights.

None of their previous games have had uber subtle foreshadowing in so many places throughout a story like the Indoc Theory demonstrations. like I said Logic from Chaos, it happens.

EDIT: (for replies posted while I was typing this) There was nothing subtle about the twists in KOTOR and Jade Empire (as much as I loved those stories).

I haven't touched or read anything mass effect in a couple of weeks... because I'm not a fan of depression. I'm curious what have people who don't think they were being indoctrinated been saying about the point that shepard ONLY breathes in the destroy choice? Whats the common counter to this point?

Uh, I don't remember SEEING any counter arguments that actually present evidence.  IT just makes so much sense that no one can come up with anything beyond, you're wrong because I say so. B)

If we were to take the end scene literally, then Shep breathing at the end of destroy is easily explaianble by noting that s/he doesn't have a body anymore in the other two endings.  To control the Reapers, s/he disintegrates and becomes some kind of overruling Reaper code or s/he is sacrificed to achieve synthesis.

On the note of synthesis, I still find that ending to be kind of out of place in IT. I support the premise of the theory but I feel that that ending is a little less clear cut than simply Harbinger's last desperate attempt to convert Shepard. But anyway, I hope that answers your question

This is also the third installment of a trilogy. Have a little faith.

Not many obviously. Calling the best developer of role playing games known for hiring actual writers for their games, not good at story telling... lawlz.... You can't take that seriously.

edit: Indoctrination isn't a subtle thing, it's smacked in our faces many times over.... I just .. Honestly.. =]

Oh really? I bow to your superior intellect and powers of deduction to have had any clue who Revan was and that master of yours. Because that floored a lot of us at the time.

interesting way to add further meaning to my response which wasn't there... I don't recall ever saying they were not good at story-telling... but if ignoring 90% of my post and adding meaning where there is none makes you feel better thats fine.

I'm just weighing in with my opinion of what I believe the situation is... I certainly hope for your ego and fandom for Bioware you are right otherwise you'll be devestated :)

and for me; I hope the Indoc Theory is true to save Mass Effect from a Trilogy crippling ending.. but right now; I don't believe it for all the reasons in my original post.

and yet for some reason his great intellect fails to notice any ID, which was almost rubbed in our faces, hmm....

Again, why do opponents of I.T. always seem so upset? Like they didn't get hugged enough as a kid.

You said they are not clever at story telling, I beg to differ with the examples right above. My ego and fandom are doing just fine thanks. If the IT turns out to not be true then I expect an adequate explanation, which honestly is probably going to be between the IT and it's really real.
