Is there anything to suggest that (if it was all a dream) the illusive man did actually find a way to control the reapers?.. not them specifically but found a way to incorporate their science to make others follow him? and that's what all the implants are on all the other cerberus agents?
Therefore, after you wake up in the rubble maybe you and TIM could team up to bring down Harbinger and the reapers but after that he has one of his tyrant rampages and you have to kill him aswell?
Peace for all?

They got to where they could control and even manufacture husks at Sanctuary, did they not? I don't know about actual Reapers, but their forces sure. I don't know about teaming up with him though, hehe. You still owe him some hurt for kicking Aria off her rock, too. Maybe you could actually convince him to switch sides there the same way you reputation-ed him to death in the crucible, whether that sequence turns out to be real or not.

Be honest! The priiize.
That was unexpected, I wasn't really listening on my first playthrough so kind of missed the hint, then she went "ahh okay.." I clicked and was like all awkward faced.
She was kind and good at her job, that's about it.
I've only ever romanced Liara and Kaidan. Little variety, but the tiiiimes...
I do want to do a Garrus one though, apparently it's pretty good.
So I do hope indoctrination is true then I can finally get back to them and continue the romance

I have a new theory. I'd bet that the ending and the indoctrination of Shepard is a setup for a follow up game with Major Coates as the main character. The fight isn't finished, Shepard has been captured, injured, or turned, and this sniper guy with way too much screen time for such an otherwise small role is supposed to pick up the pieces in a story-concurrent DLC that extends the take back earth story and helps to wrap up the ending better.
Nah. That'd be silly.
You know, that's not super-farfetched. I did get the sense that Coates was being set up for something. He seemed "significant."

Are people actually considering that the phony child in the start of the game is real? And that Shepard fell down to earth after two explosions as well as with a lack of shields and armor? IDT or not.. are we actually seriously considering that?
What? Are you saying YOU can't survive an uncontrolled reentry into the Earth's atmosphere, while lacking a sealed suit and have an explosion the size of a city engulf you?
Rookie.
Heck, the Master Chief barely survived the fall to Earth while in FULL armor, without an explosion, AND with a metal plate to partially absorb the heat from the fall. Shepard may be more awesome, but you're pushin' what I can believe if you think he can. BTW I know you were just joking, I'm just saying this for everyone who DOES think it's possible.
For now I'd give the edge to Master Chief.....MC wouldn't have gone out the way Shepard did in ME3.....no way, now how.....not at his worst....
And I like ME better than Halo....still, Chief wouldn't take the cards he was dealt if he didn't like them....he'd chuck them back in Star-Jars face.....he'd nuke that ****, base jump off the citadel and orbital drop to Earth.....no questions....no hesitation

This thread will be over run with "I told you so's" and will quickly die. Most of the I.T. believers will completly lose their last ounce of hope/faith in Bioware, and we'll probably just start looking forward to Diablo 3.
I personally will have to take up another hobby if I.T. is not true, like flying kites, much less chance for dissapointment.
We can only hope. T minus 3 days.

I can't stand the fad with halo. It's a ****ty game that uses little innovation.. just like COD. Really shows you how blind most consumers are. The same can be said about people who watch shows like NCIS, or CSI.. because it's the same episode over and over and over and over again...and completely unrealistic at that.

Come on, he saved a mother and child from a husk with a single shot.
Thinking back to that trailer, seeing Shep standing in that observation deck watching the world burn.
Manly squeaking occurred.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my LEAST favorite comment on this thread. Sorry Noob, but I completely disagree with you. Halo innovates FAR more than CoD ever has. Also, I love NCIS and CSI, so.... no, as I said before, I completely disagree with you. Not enough to unfriend you, but still.

Manly squeaking? I completely lost it. Yeah, I admit it. That was the greatest trailer I've ever seen in my life. I made the people who cried at the Zelda trailer at E3 that one year look small time. Thankfully, I was at home. However, if IT is true and there is an announcement trailer at PAX, I think I will go even crazier.

have you ever even given the games and shows a chance if you havent i dont really see why you would hate them without having seen or played them...anyways i support the IDT... so here's my contribution if this wasnt in his mind where did the table come from after TIM is dead and if i remember correctly you dont see it come out of the floor at anytime unless it appered in the 1-2 seconds the camera wasnt pointed at it and even that far in the future it seems to take things like that forever to move...one example the door to liara's room...that takes FOREVER to open
Thanks for the support. Also, we have noticed the issue with that elevated area. One of the minor, but still useful points.

OK fan boys settle down, no need to talk about Halo in a Mass Effect thread, even though Halo totally revolutionized shooters on the consoles.

if you want a good tv show then you'll watch Breaking Bad. Other than that... nothing can really compare. Maybe dexter before this last season.. but holy crap did season 6 SUCK. Walking Dead is good.. but some of the acting is inconsistent..along with the positioning of major plot points.
I just can't bring myself to watch a show like CSI that has boring characters and uses the same overall storyline for each episode. Dexter uses similar techniques.. but it's actually good.
Yep. I bought the original Xbox and picked up Halo and Halo 2. Not my cup of tea. I even have halo on PC. And I've seen some CSI... boring.
