Interesting, that there are people for every LI in the game. I prefer Tali and Liara and I can't understand the others, but thats one of the great things in this game. ^^
PS: Ok Miranda is nice, too ;)

Yes, and I like to remind me of that fact when I wonder who would ever like Miranda ;) ... however, I have to admit that I can understand why people wouldn't like Liara. The quality of this "romance" was very varying of the series - for me, Liara had her best moments in ME1 and (with minor cuts) in LotSB, while ME3 was somehow ... odd. Don't know, maybe I was just expecting more development of that relation - she didn't even remember that we reunited in LotSB :-|

People have said that's a bug in the romance. Where she goes from lover, to friendzone, to lover, to friendzone.

Talking to vigil on ilos:
"sovereign is not invincible. revealing it's true nature would have united the forces of every organic species in the galaxy. even a reaper could not survive such odds"

i say we sure as hell have a fighting chance with enough ems.

As for Miranda- I stopped romancing her in ME2 and went for Jack. Sad as it is, I thought "Miranda is hot and all, but she can't have kids. I think my Shep would wanna settle down after all this with a family" yeah I'm weird like that... Lol also, I figured Jack needed someone, Miranda just wanted someone.... Damn MEis a great series...!!!

There's always the adoption option. Tons of orphans after this war...

The beam is made to one-way teleport (Same technology of the mass relays)  at random, a body, in one of the
"processing rooms" where you will be stored to later on being injected
into reaper form, I do not remember who explaind this, but that's what they said.

We didn't see that kind of "tractor beam" ever before in ME, did we?

It is not a tractor beam, it is a mass relay, and yes we see it in ME1 when you use the mako to travel through the mini mass relay (Small shaft of light) right into the Citadel.

Well, that's why I put tractor beam in quotes. But thanks for the reminder. That makes it seem less odd than I thought.
I was thinking about whether that thing really transports people to Citadel or whether it might be a fancy mass-indoctrication device. But that way its probably just the stairway to reaper heaven.

Well, at least I can say that some real women have that bug, too ;) ... would be nice if they can fix that stuff as well as the Ken-Gabby thing not being triggered when Ash is dead.

Anyone ever thought about the possibility that TIM could have completely rewritten the prothean vi to actually tell shepard what TIM wants it to tell? The vi tells shepard that the citadel is the catalyst because that's where they (tim and reapers) want him to be...just thinking

That is a really good point.

Cerberus cracked the VI so it's possible that they changed some of the code too.

At this point, anything is possible.

I thought about that. I internally voted against it because I thought cracking security mechanisms and real reprogramming would be way different in terms of difficulty. Also, if Citadel place an important roll in getting the sword from the stone a.k.a. the Crucible to work, I'm not sure whether they reapers would really want reaper-a**-kicker no. 1 to be there.

Well, actually we don't even have proof that it is the SAME VI.

It could be an entirely different one, for all we know. One created by TIM, for example.

I found it really strange that after this weapon making business at the end you find out it's all based on ancient work and the 'key' is in the citadel. JUST LIKE THE MASS RELAYS in Me1. I'm sorry but, yeah right. Would Bioware really handle that so badly?

I seriously hope not. :?

I don't know. just seemd a bit too convenient to me, what with the still being stored on TIM'S computer. even in the cas of a last minute evacuation, due to all the exploding ships and all..TIM, being the samrt guy he is...would have done something to the vi, so the information does not fall into the "wrong hands"..
I think hackett said it "cerberus never acts without a plan"

probably been talked to death in here but it's still strange to see joker's vrolik syndrom symptoms being shown to the player throughout all the games and then disregarded/thrown out the window in the endings, no amount of luck would let joker survive the normandy crashing like that.

Maybe he was strapped in? Traynor mentioned being harnessed in during one of the spaceflight missions. I think when you're on Rannoch and they're blasting the Reaper.

Still... Joker shouldn't have been gingerly walking out of the Normandy.

@Skillz:
Right. That was way too easy.

I find EarthbornShepard's theory of a decoy VI more appealing than full hacking of the Prothean VI. Still, that might be a trap.
As somebody commented a couple of pages ago, the room before was also really odd. If I think about it, everything after that was pretty fishy...

Well for the synthesis ending he would be cured so for that it works.

Yep, I also wondered where TIM is now if IT is true. Mentioned it awhile back in this thread so it is no wonder you haven't seen it. Why take Omega at all?Is TIM on Omega? Did TIM lie to the Reapers and Alliance? And is there a 2nd Crucible? Did TIM make it while the Reapers and Alliance were fighting?

Also, are the Reapers repurposing the Citadel now that the Collector base is destroyed and the Citadel has been fiddled with by the Protheans?

Another thread is speculation that Omega is a leftover Crucible from the Protheans.

Assuming that the above is true, Friday might reveal a lot more game then just a quick ending.

Love that omega= leftover crucible thing. thought about it too. i mean look at the shape. also i always wondered what the hell cerberus wants on omega, because they seem to be there in force. so what chronos station is gone? There's still a major cerberus presence on omega

I want to hear more about that guy I left alive on machine support in a drifting freighter. I figured he was a prime test subject for huskification.

It'd be like Contact all over again!

And.. actually, would give more credibility to returning to Omega because as it is, you really have no need to go there if you've already gotten the Mercs on board without re-instating the Pirate Queen.

...that....
is very interesting! Haven't heard that one yet..
I gotta admit that when I first saw the crucible I was like "LOL Space ******!"
