The big advantage about insanity is that you can always claim that it's just the rest of the world that happens to be insane - while you are actually the only sane person around

I think all people in this thread passed the insanity line about 700 pages ago.

well yeah, there's some filter or editing.. but the sound underneath is the same.

It could just be reused sounds and mean nothing, just saying. I wouldn't consider it evidence at all, if IT turns out to be true people looking back can go "Hey, yeah that's what they were doing" but it doesn't mean anything right now.

The IT is balony. There are clearly 3 (not very well written) choices in front Commander Shepard. If Shep was indoctrinated, there would only be one choice. I don't buy the arguement that the star-child was misleading Shepard. Manipulation and indoctrination are two different things.

Name me one religious cult that allows followers to do one of 3 things. No, they are indoctrinated and do the same thing over and over.

Indoctrination, like Inception, relies on the subject believing that the ideas came from themselves and not a foreign entity.

Thus indoctrination only works (is believable to the subject) is if there are multiple "decisions/options". If there was only one option, the indoctrination would be more obvious, and thus not work, especially if it is a viewpoint the subject disagrees with. By using these "options" it creates doubt and leads you to a different conclusion in line with the will of the enforcer. Religions/cults can't actively and physically change your thought patterns like indoctrination as presented in game; they have to rely on well-reasoned arguements or otherwise fail.

The only Waldstraße I remember is in Karlsruhe. If you happen to live there, have a beer for me at Alter Brauhof (I used to go there while I was still studying). If its another Waldstraße, feel free to have a beer, anyway

This thread has begun grasping at straws. The beam being an indoctrination device? Omega being a "Left over" crucible? I mean, come on guys. I understand there isnt much new evidence to discuss, but now we're just looking desperate.

Lol, maybe so but it is still pretty weak on its own. All the really blatant stuff was found ages ago in the thread. Still nice stuff popping up but at most it would fall under supporting evidence.

I especially like when Joker looks over his shoulder, sees the magic, and the singing starts again. Its like it was sneaking up on him.

Personally, it's much harder for me to swallow the endings we got than let go of Shepard. I'd be fine with an ending where Shepard dies. I'm not fine with an ending where nothing makes sense and most of the series is contradicted by a character introduced in the last 10 minutes.

And yeah, I'll readily admit that part of the reason why I belive in the IT is because I don't want to believe the endings we got are legit.

I find it to be like watching an excellent 10 hr mystery series then being told: "Ok, that was all the clues. In one months time we will have a special episode explaining all the clues, their purpose and the killer. Can you solve it before then?"

I must take responsiblity for the 2nd crucible thing but I did say it was wild speculation (So I can claim "I told you so" after :innocent:)
