Yep, be proud that this thread makes more sense then the ending.

Still waiting to see what this extended version contains but if doesn't have IT in it then it just means we got to see another excellent series ruined.

I don't know how to feel about this if it is true, on one hand we can say IT goes out the window and rainbow endings are true, as bad as they are it just shows you they're doing this only because of backlash.

One would think they had huge dlc or an expansion pack "ready or working on" like they did for DA origins the awakening.

So once you run down toward conduit and get hit by Harby its all just badly written ending, starbrat feeding you all that BS about chaos and shep taking it

Sure seems like it. good god. I don't know what is worse. The thought that they think they can explain all the bad writing in what will be probably 3 minutes of cine,atics, or the fact that they let all that bad writing through in the first place

I admire your hope but I think this is the nail in the coffin, so to speak. Free DLC in the form of cinematics is not what was hoped for. Ah well.

I'm... well, I don't know what to think. To me they're still saying that what you see is what you get. Sounds like there will be a lot of "headcanon" still.

I'm not giving up, but my morale has been hindered by this.

I'm still wondering how they're going to explain al these writing mistakes that are explained with IT. And if it just are some additional cinematics and epilogue scenes, why does it take untill summer?

It is the PR phrasing "Cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes" makes it sound like they are just throwing some movies on the ending, no extra gameplay for example, and IT was either never planned to continue the ending or was just scrapped.

If it was just scrapped that is particularly shoddy work, they just threw some stuff at the ending and called it quits.

while you are right that it doesn't kill of IT..It's still just cinematics. seriously? Let's say it's a ten minute cinematic at max. sure as s**t not enough time to explain the s**tload of plotholes and bad writing. but...i'll let them surprise me..maybe they can pull this off...if not, let us surprise them

This  does not confirm or deny IT. The extra scenes could just as easily confirm or deny IT.

Hell, the dlc on the way could still confirm or deny IT. Speculations ending tomorrow woot!
