Well...why people start thinking about the ending of the IT? What if the extended cut explains that Shepard WAS indoctrinated and woke up in the rubble?

But...we have to hold the line until tomorrow. If we get no clear answer tomorrow....we will hold the line until the release of the extended cut DLC! Time to kick some BioWare-Reaper ass!

They said they're holding off on other DLC ventures until the clarity DLC is released. My guess would be no. At least in the SP campaign. They'll probably try to get us with MP packs.

Hold the line, and ignore the trolls. They only get bigger if you acknowledge them.

Even though a small part of me still hopes, the majority of my being is telling me to give up. If IT is truly not real, then what's with all those cryptic tweets and their complete lack of response to anything IT-related? They've responded to everything else people have said about the ending, but BW has never directly addressed IT.

"If players knew what we had planned, they would keep their saves." or something like that. Remember, this was stated before everything really got out of hand. Before a huge amount of people even finished the game. It's illogical, but I still have hope.

Oh well. IT was the crucible against the bioware reaper endings unfortunately it failed at the end.

Fortunately There was a lot of seeding with little boxes to warn the next cycle to not trust bioware to deliver on promises

Anyone waiting with bated breath for wald to show up and do a victory dance?

Who cares? Why should i care about people who revel in the disappointment of fans that wished for a better ending to their favorite franchise, when they seem to care about the same game too?

What the hell? Don't even know if they should feel ashamed or anything.

Loss for words.

I don't really care. I just dread "I told you so" statements said be individuals bordering on intellectually and socially challenged over the interwebs. I can't wring necks with text. :o

At least until nerual interfaces in the future.

Wonder if EA are going to try and  sell DLC between now and the ending release date.

I actually believe this to be their plan; make as much money as they can before releasing this "extended cut".  I am not falling for it Bioware or EA...

Clarification, huh?

What's to clarify about what we saw?

I still think this is truth.

Alot of people are being overly emotional right now. If you want Bioware to take you seriously wait until further information gets out on what they are actually adding in those cut scenes. We've beaten the game, I dont think its unreasonable to ask what direction they intend to go with the added scenes. We still dont know what the dlc will focus on and how it will affect the ending or even *if* will it affect the ending. Pax is one day away. Save your tears/joy for after all of the major announcements have been distributed.

Also im seeing the line start to shift a bit. Some people are ok with the ending so long as its more coherent and believable. Some just want to see their squadmates in a more concrete final scene. Some just want to know the answers to questions left hanging. Some want their own specialized ending right down to a specific one per love interest. Some want a completely new ending on a different planet...

My point is that everyone has their own specific ideas for how to handle the ending fiasco. What united us was that we wanted bioware to improve the ending. This is happening...one way or another. People be careful making threads declaring anything more than that. Seeing titles like *We wanted X* has already lead me down the road of *hey that guy doesnt speak for me*. In order to keep the line, we must respect each others opinions and accept that everyone will not be equally satisfied no matter what Bioware does.

Than we should also get gameplay to really defeat the Reapers.

"Hold onto your saves so you can buy our DLC"

It can be taken that way, as well. It doesn't disprove or prove IT.

I dunno. Like I said... my hope is dwindling but present.

I am rather puzzled. Is there nobody else that has been expecting cutscenes?

ACAVYOS's interpretation of IT in his video's description mirrors mine.

Recap link:

Shepard was the key to defeat the Reapers. "No organic ever made it that far" but Shepard resisted indoctrination and the temptation of seemingly infinitife power, he ultimately rejected it. The Crucible could only be build in a joint effort by many civilizations (without being sabotaged) and Harbinger was the Catalyst, the examiner. Shepard was the representative of the people of the galaxy. And he passed the trial, he proofed the worth of him and the other people.

Shepard united a galaxy. He prooved that in a time when the galaxy is threatened by a greater menace (synthetic enemy) all the different races would rally and fight for their future together, without being divided and seduced by indoctrination and hunger for power.

The guardians of organic life, the Reapers, had fullfilled their mission. Because of them a galactic civilization has evolved that could defend itself against a greater synthetic threat.

Now it depends on how well they will execute this. The best case scenario would be the ending being fulfilling and proper, but at the same time leaves some aspects for interpretations and discussions.

This is not directly related, but how many Indoctrination Boosters did you see and where are they?
They are quite interesting as usually every single object you can interact with or destroy is marked but them. You can shoot them and they explode but as they are not being marked they are a lot less noticeable. (Clever hint of indoctrination maybe?)
I saw one in the Asari Monastery, in the room where you also find the daily schedule iirc. I also think I remember a screen with one but with a completely different background, so I guess there are more than that one which leads me again to my original question: how many Indoctrination Boosters did you see and where are they?

Definitely one of the things you are told to do in multiplayer is deactivate Indoctrination boosters.

Yes but you don't hear anything from them as Shep. You wouldn't even know what these things are if you don't play MP.
