I don't think it was mere happenstance that this is playing out during Holy Week and particularly near Easter. Bioware released this press snippet a day before a major gaming convention. Suddenly everyone starts Doubting their convictions even though the actual announcement is rather vague....

I'm willing to admit I may be overthinking things, but the sheer number of clues to the IT theory are just too pervasive for me to think otherwise. I think Bioware is manipulating it's fan base like a harp, and we're all dancing to the same tune as 12 disciples 2000 years ago. That's what Bioware means by 'Artistic Vision'. Social engineering on a grand scale and in the service of a story. Tomorrow will tell the story presumably - or perhaps Sunday, that being Easter of course. I suppose I'll have to eat my hat if I'm wrong.

Oh man....and now we're into the religion. I'm not trying to offend someone and I support ind. theory, but THIS.... I really don't want to accept this.

It looks to me like you just took 2 quotes that in no way relate to the IT except to say there will be DLC and this will be the only one. So connect the dots for me because I clearly am missing how this makes IT not true.

Are you kidding?  They are standing by the current endings and adding cutscenes.  IT nullifies two endings.  They ARE NOT doing that.  How is this hard to understand?  Why do even think they put those questions in the FAQ?  It clearly says they are clarifying the EXISTING ENDING SEQUENCES.  Sequence means cutscenes.

IDT does NOT nullify the ending.  That happened.  IDT completely agrees that the ending happens.  How do we make this clearer?  IDT would require addtional explanation to the ending (clarification and closure) and can be done by cinematics only.

I'm sorry but IT is real in all endings. In fact not all endings are victories. In fact there are variants of all colored endings depending on EMS. DESTROY with high EMS MEANS you BEAT INDOCTRINATION! The other levels of EMS means something different. Mostly that Shepard failed her save versus IT or Shepard was stupid enough to jump into the green beam under the mistaken belief that all would be daises and unicorns.

I didn't make you're point as much as you failed to read ~1200 pages of explanation so you didn't understand my words.

Its not your fault really. How can you be expected to read so many pages of proof and facts. When all you have to so is come in on a recent page and be a Troll.

Because saying YES or NO would ruin it. So obviously, the answer is YES. This is all I needed to read. I.T. is true, and this free DLC will clarify that. Then later, after everyone has calmed their junk, they will release paid DLC letting you help Aria take back Omega. The end.

I honestly think the dlc will add clarification and closure to the endings of the game. They said there would be no other end game dlc for Mass Effect 3 in the blog. However it did not say anything about expansions like they did with Dragon Age Origins by making Awakenings. So I think they will eventually have an expansion come out with more gameplay and whatever else story wise.

It always amazes me how communication on this level could never have been accomplished even 20 years ago. Getting literally thousands of people in on a conversation, each with their own opinion is quite remarkable imo. Agnostic is not a type of faith, it is a level of faith. You can be an agnostic Christian, catholic, jew, hindu and so on. It's essentially saying that you only believe certian parts of the religion and reject others

I fail to see how they win the Battle for Earth. The Reapers are all destroyed. Just because Earth is also destroyed doesnt mean the Reapers won the battle. They definitively lost.

You cant even argue that the Reapers accomplished any sort of goal they had, since their goal wasnt to destroy Earth, it was to harvest all humans on Earth.

IT is not true.

It looks to me like you just took 2 quotes that in no way relate to the IT except to say there will be DLC and this will be the only one. So connect the dots for me because I clearly am missing how this makes IT not true.

Are you kidding?  They are standing by the current endings and adding cutscenes.  IT nullifies two endings.  They ARE NOT doing that.  How is this hard to understand?  Why do even think they put those questions in the FAQ?  It clearly says they are clarifying the EXISTING ENDING SEQUENCES.  Sequence means cutscenes.

IDT does NOT nullify the ending.  That happened.  IDT completely agrees that the ending happens.  How do we make this clearer?  IDT would require addtional explanation to the ending (clarification and closure) and can be done by cinematics only.

YES IT DOES!.  For IT to be true you would HAVE TO pick destroy.  What don't you get about that?  That makes the other two endings false.  BW has clearly stated in the FAQ that all three endings are valid.  They are not changing the end.

And cinematics only?  Is that a joke?  What?  A cinematic of Shep waking up and shooting Harbinger in the eye: THE END?  

Your inability to understand IT is amusing. All endings mean IT.

Let me explain. Control means you failed to resist. Considering its the only option you get if you saved the collector's base and have low EMS means the reapers own you.

Synthesis only occurs with high EMS. That means the reapers are scared s***less and IT of Shepard is failing and they are using their contingency plan. Everything and everyone is synthetic/living hybrid.

Destruction is best when you have high EMS. Shepard wakes up. IT is beaten.

Now that I've explained IT to you, since you can't be bothered to read the OP, can you explain how clarification and explanation ruin IT?

I already knew that dumb crap.  Thanks for making my point.  To beat indoctrination in It you HAVE TO CHOOSE DESTROY!  That's idiotic.  They are not going to retcon the choices so only one allows you to actually win.  How is this hard to understand.  It turns two choices that currently are victories into failures and leaves everyone with one choice to make.  How you see that as a good idea is beyond me.

The FAQ clearly states they are NOT changing the endings.  They are ALL still victories.  They are not retconning anything.

I'm sorry but IT is real in all endings. In fact not all endings are victories. In fact there are variants of all colored endings depending on EMS. DESTROY with high EMS MEANS you BEAT INDOCTRINATION! The other levels of EMS means something different. Mostly that Shepard failed her save versus IT or Shepard was stupid enough to jump into the green beam under the mistaken belief that all would be daises and unicorns.

Its not your fault really. How can you be expected to read so many pages of proof and facts. When all you have to so is come in on a recent page and be a Troll.

It is neither productive nor appreciated. You've gotten plenty of people explaing IT and it's relationship to the endings. If you just want to type in all caps and think that is proof go read a pamphlet on developing an argument then come back.

Are you dense?  You are saying the same thing I said.  IT makes two choices failures!  The game tells you all choices defeat the Reapers.  The FAQ outright says they are not changing the choices or endings.  They are not going to make a huge portion of the fans choices failures now.  

The script states clearly Synergy was their "perfect" ending.  Sorry, you don't like but you have no facts.  The game itself contradicts you as does the script, the devs, the apps and the FAQ.

Let me ask you another question. How are they going to expand and clarify the current ending if we take everything at face value. You can't because EVERYONE DIED. The mass relays are destroyed and all the aliens in the fleet are stuck on earth. They are all going to die. The only way to expand the ending is with the IT. Otherwise... yea everyone died.
