*Nods* Let's not bring enything else into this theory it's already complicated ( read first page) so we shoul concentrate on news from PAX, and maybe set a new record : play ME3 all over again and leave b4 Cerberus base and wait for Bioware announcement at PAXRksmithers wrote...

It's becoming harder and harder to keep faith in Bioware.
This epilogue content they have announced better have a lot of answers to the many many many legitimate questions that "passionate" fans have asked otherwise they may face another revolt which I suspect would be bigger than the last one.
The ball is in your court Bioware. Don't let us down.
Also and this is directed at EA. Think twice before shouting from the rafters about MP DLC. The MP DLC is fun but when a game was created and made on the back of a single player story MP will always feel shoehorned in. While the level of displeasure at the endings, adding more MP and making it a hugh announcement would leave a really bad taste in a lot of peoples mouth.
I keep running into this and can't believe people aren't making the connection. 'It's becoming harder and harder to keep faith...."
Now...think about what today's date is. Maundy Thursday. Think about what happened on that date. Then start thinking about how many allusions the game has to Christian imagery and I think you'll make the connection.
Not to bash your religion or tell you you cant speculate on this, but lets try to keep religion out of the IT for the Time being.

I'm going to have to disagree, there is religous allusions in the game so I think it's all applicable. Tomorrow is Good Friday afterall...

0_o. So...there is hope for that "golden ending" after all? I did my very best to try to have shepard and crew survive.
Jessica Merizan
@MrBlazenGlazen yes but with some sacrifices depending on the end you chose. Ending is never perfect but Shep/crew reunited is possible
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Now that she's said it it can't be taken back, right?!

I already knew that dumb crap. Thanks for making my point. To beat indoctrination in It you HAVE TO CHOOSE DESTROY! That's idiotic. They are not going to retcon the choices so only one allows you to actually win. How is this hard to understand. It turns two choices that currently are victories into failures and leaves everyone with one choice to make. How you see that as a good idea is beyond me.
The FAQ clearly states they are NOT changing the endings. They are ALL still victories. They are not retconning anything.
Bioware said before the game came out that it was possible for the Reapers to win, though.
IT not only provides them with a way to make the current endings make sense, but also a way to make it seem like they didnt lie to us about the endings as much as it currently seems they did.
Please show me that quote.
And IT doesn't make anything make sense. Indoctrination doesn't work that way. On top of that there is no bigger cop out than the "it was all a dream" ending.
Here you go.
http://www.nowgamer....in_bioware.html
He was asked if they could win the Battle for Earth. They can. Pick Destoy with low EMS and the earth is destroyed.
The reapers are all still destroyed though. How exactly is that them winng?

Answer: IT
"Shep wouldn't have taken Starchild seriously. How do you 'clarify' that?"

I'm sure if I worked at it hard enough, I very well could. But we have been playing a Shepard this whole time, who went to Afterlife and Purgatory, and who seemingly Sacrifices himself during the final ending. Given all that, I don't think it's a bridge too far.[/quote
we have had a similar conversation on this thread before, there is christian sumbolism in the game. However Purgatory is not one of them. Purgatory although found in religion is not found anywhere in the Bible, Torah or any other holy books(AFAIK)
It is the invention of the catholic church.
That being said Sunday is Easter sunday, Shepard has been raised from the dead so perhaps...

New theory with religion. Like i said let's not make theories out of it, this is called "IT tread" not "Religion similarity tread"
mind your words guys :<
Oh and imagine if reapers would come in here " In grim darkness of future there's only wa- what? who? Rapers? The hell is that? Nevermind, tear it down to pieces with exterminatus, and any planet It touch."
