as a fan, I like the indoctrination theory and it's definitely how I perceive at least one of my playthroughs.

To me, this just confirms that Bioware's goal is to make the IDT and the face value ending equally plausible; in other words, it shouldn't be clear to the player whether Shepard is indoctrinated or not during the end game events (or at which point the indoctrination takes place). Which I think can only be a good thing.

Also and this is directed at EA. Think twice before shouting from the rafters about MP DLC. The MP DLC is fun but when a game was created and made on the back of a single player story MP will always feel shoehorned in. While the level of displeasure at the endings, adding more MP and making it a hugh announcement would leave a really bad taste in a lot of peoples mouth.

Now...think about what today's date is. Maundy Thursday. Think about what happened on that date. Then start thinking about how many allusions the game has to Christian imagery and I think you'll make the connection.

Not to bash your religion or tell you you cant speculate on this, but lets try to keep religion out of the IT for the Time being.

I'm going to have to disagree, there is religous allusions in the game so I think it's all applicable. Tomorrow is Good Friday afterall...

Let me ask you another question. How are they going to expand and clarify the current ending if we take everything at face value. You can't because EVERYONE DIED. The mass relays are destroyed and all the aliens in the fleet are stuck on earth. They are all going to die. The only way to expand the ending is with the IT. Otherwise... yea everyone died.

If the ending DLC explains how the relays exploded without killing everyone, how your squad linked back up with Joker, and how Shepard survives the citadel exploding, and how the fleet makes it back home (or even just how it is possible), then they will take care of most of the problems. Thats how Sci-Fi works, and thats why the ending was such a punch in the face. You can make anything exist in Sci-Fi as long as you take 3 seconds and explain it.

Thank you! You have no Idea how many people from my old HS thought they were so deep because they were agnostic, and had no idea what it meant!

Actually, if you are unsure you are an agnostic but not an atheist.  I wrote a 7 or 8 page paper comparing the Agnostic veiwpoint with Atheism and Theism this last semester with the specific purpose of trying to disprove this belief. It is in fact very complicated with many subbeliefs so I will not get into all of them, but long story short being unsure means you are an Agnostic. Atheism is outright denial of a deity. Personally I am a deist which is basically your definition of an Agnostic Theist. I believe there is a deity, but I think no one can know specifics for sure so I don't follow a religious code. Likewise, I also am unsure if there is a God, but I like to believe there is. I am not an Athiest even though I am unsure. Athiesm and Agnosticism are not synomimous although they can be used to support each other. Ok, sorry but I felt a need to clarify that -.-

Jessica merizan confirmed that a reuniom of shep and his team is possible, how..for God's sake..can that be possible..if you take the endings for what they are?

Let's face facts here:

In the best outcome, you managed to get enough ems to at least leave earth not being FUBAR. but still, shep is om the citadel, which is by the way blowing up. your crew is in the idyllic ass of nowhere. the mass relays..well they're gone. i'd say these are perfect conditions for shepard to reunite with his team right? RIGHT? Because for all we know, there's still space magic. "beam me down star brat"

It's gonna be hard, there is a chance that they may never confirm nor deny I.T.. The problem with that is the beleivers will never feel any sort of resolution or closure besides headcanon, and the naysayers will always be able to point out dissatisfying "plotholes" and "lazy writing". The problem is no one except trolls and *"artsy" types will be happy unless I.T. is confirmed. 
 

*by "artsy" I mean people that don't care for things like the laws of physics, and proper story pregression.
