The MP DLC is fun but when a game was created and made on the back of a single player story MP will always feel shoehorned in. While the level of displeasure at the endings, adding more MP and making it a hugh announcement would leave a really bad taste in a lot of peoples mouth.

Now...think about what today's date is. Maundy Thursday. Think about what happened on that date. Then start thinking about how many allusions the game has to Christian imagery and I think you'll make the connection.

Not to bash your religion or tell you you cant speculate on this, but lets try to keep religion out of the IT for the Time being.

I'm going to have to disagree, there is religous allusions in the game so I think it's all applicable. Tomorrow is Good Friday afterall...

actually no, the idea of the mass effect universe is there is no god, just.. well the protheans for earths god... and everyone elses god, so hence we cant very well have an actuall jesus in mass effect earth, at least according to mass effect. thats all im saying, so lets just let it go, and not go to far out there, because its already a long drop down......

Agreed, people (I've calmed down now ) are just getting tense before the annoucement.
In case you missed it; Jessica has hinted that there is playable content or rather that she doesn't know where people are getting the no playable content thing from.

Actually, the trolls started a big ass fire of hate..and all we did was adding fuel to it..by actually trying to convince these guys. few of us were trying to be firefighters by convincing the others to ignore the trolls, while the rest was just watching from the sidelines, with one dude praying to god for the fire to stop...that prettey much sums it all up.

IT is not true.

It looks to me like you just took 2 quotes that in no way relate to the IT except to say there will be DLC and this will be the only one. So connect the dots for me because I clearly am missing how this makes IT not true.

Are you kidding?  They are standing by the current endings and adding cutscenes.  IT nullifies two endings.  They ARE NOT doing that.  How is this hard to understand?  Why do even think they put those questions in the FAQ?  It clearly says they are clarifying the EXISTING ENDING SEQUENCES.  Sequence means cutscenes.

IDT does NOT nullify the ending.  That happened.  IDT completely agrees that the ending happens.  How do we make this clearer?  IDT would require addtional explanation to the ending (clarification and closure) and can be done by cinematics only.

YES IT DOES!.  For IT to be true you would HAVE TO pick destroy.  What don't you get about that?  That makes the other two endings false.  BW has clearly stated in the FAQ that all three endings are valid.  They are not changing the end.

And cinematics only?  Is that a joke?  What?  A cinematic of Shep waking up and shooting Harbinger in the eye: THE END?  

Your inability to understand IT is amusing. All endings mean IT.

Let me explain. Control means you failed to resist. Considering its the only option you get if you saved the collector's base and have low EMS means the reapers own you.

Synthesis only occurs with high EMS. That means the reapers are scared s***less and IT of Shepard is failing and they are using their contingency plan. Everything and everyone is synthetic/living hybrid.

Destruction is best when you have high EMS. Shepard wakes up. IT is beaten.

Now that I've explained IT to you, since you can't be bothered to read the OP, can you explain how clarification and explanation ruin IT?

I already knew that dumb crap.  Thanks for making my point.  To beat indoctrination in It you HAVE TO CHOOSE DESTROY!  That's idiotic.  They are not going to retcon the choices so only one allows you to actually win.  How is this hard to understand.  It turns two choices that currently are victories into failures and leaves everyone with one choice to make.  How you see that as a good idea is beyond me.

The FAQ clearly states they are NOT changing the endings.  They are ALL still victories.  They are not retconning anything.

I'm sorry but IT is real in all endings. In fact not all endings are victories. In fact there are variants of all colored endings depending on EMS. DESTROY with high EMS MEANS you BEAT INDOCTRINATION! The other levels of EMS means something different. Mostly that Shepard failed her save versus IT or Shepard was stupid enough to jump into the green beam under the mistaken belief that all would be daises and unicorns.

I didn't make you're point as much as you failed to read ~1200 pages of explanation so you didn't understand my words.

Its not your fault really. How can you be expected to read so many pages of proof and facts. When all you have to so is come in on a recent page and be a Troll.

It is neither productive nor appreciated. You've gotten plenty of people explaing IT and it's relationship to the endings. If you just want to type in all caps and think that is proof go read a pamphlet on developing an argument then come back.

Are you dense?  You are saying the same thing I said.  IT makes two choices failures!  The game tells you all choices defeat the Reapers.  The FAQ outright says they are not changing the choices or endings.  They are not going to make a huge portion of the fans choices failures now.  

The script states clearly Synergy was their "perfect" ending.  Sorry, you don't like but you have no facts.  The game itself contradicts you as does the script, the devs, the apps and the FAQ.  

Dense? Coming from the Troll who refuses to look at ITs ~1200 pages of facts and discussion because he can read a one page PR release but lacks the ability to advance any argument beyond calling others dense and repeating the same old trite and tired argument?

Well, I haven't been on that many forums, but I would call it trolling of epic proportions. At one point the trolls were trolling each other. It was off the hook.

I'm not saying that at all, I fully agree. The jesus story is just a reiteration of a classic story that has been handed down through the ages, All mythologies have their hero character who goes through some sort of "resurrection" or "rebirth", The bible is just a retelling of the same ideas that even the Egyptians had for their god figures. Even Goko and Superman are put through these struggles. I'm not at all discussing at all the validity of anything in the bible in relation to REAL LIFE! The bible should be a place to gather interpretations and lessons and themes, and should not ever be taken at face value.

That said, there are plenty of things that symbolize Shepard being that kind of hero figure, The Lazerus project is alluding to Lazarus of Bethany, Jesus raising him from the dead. 

Also Everyone is willing to give there life for him, they would never stop following him, even if Joker did turn into a **** someone on the ship would have stopped him from running away.
