They did a female CGI version? I totally missed that.

I prefer the rough Femshep from the first two games, she looked liked a military woman who hangs around with loads of marines all the time and didn't look like she was trying to be a supermodel.=]

Headcanon saves the endings.

Also, who will be peeved if they turn this into an MMO 3 years down the road? I won't buy it. Mass Effect will always remain in my heart as an action rpg.

However, if they made an FPS or TPS with Garrus as its playable character... :o

People in this topic have discussed and put forward REALLY good alternatives to this ending and how to go about it. Even if the endings were kept, IT can go on to improve the game afterwards, meaning the original 'art' endings are kept but still finishing the game to our satisfaction.

However, if the FAQ thing is true and the endings are being kept, then it's a bit disillusioning. If the endings are just 'clarified' (i.e. not added to, or changed or whatever) then that's not helping anyone and it's essentially bioware going "here, this is what the endings mean because you are too dumb to understand this art."

Anyway, I've summed up what I think will happen in this image lol.

Agreed.

Actually, it's a bit strange, given the graphics weren't too impressive, but I really liked the overall tune of the design best in ME 1.

And protects you from getting captured by the NSF.

But urgh, an MMO of Mass Effect, I thought what people liked about Mass Effect of the story driven/diverging content.

Some games are MMOs, some games are not, trying to capitalise on the popularity of one to produce the other doesn't always work.

*bow* thank you, thank you, I pride myself on my skill.

But don't get me wrong. This isn't what I imagine the cutscene endings to be. This is what I expect Bioware to MAKE.

The simple explanation of "Bioware dropped the ball." simply defies logic, it requires them to somehow, simataneously be excellent at their jobs (as ME3 attests for the most part) while somehow being absolutely TERRIBLE at their jobs. requiring the entire writing team, as well as the developers, the investors, publisher and CO, CEO, and COO to suddenly, somehow have had brain anuyresms all at the same moment.

MORDIN: Statistically unlikely. Verbal irony, communication of idea intended to bite. Clever. Very clever.

Nicely summed up. I kind of wonder where Bioware/EA is heading with all this. I will wait until tomorrow for making my final judgement, but it confuses me how they handle the whole ending debate - I really feel unable to believe that they thought they would get away unharmed with the current ending taked at face value. Yet, even if it turns out that they have some IT-compatible explenation, waiting to disclose it until summer is going to leave a lot of people (including me) quite bitter.

But then, let's see what (space) magic they have prepared for tomorrow.

This was nothing compared to Dragon Age's characters in Cinematic Trailers, concept art, website art and in-game art, Morrigans looked different in all four of them.

Joker falls asleep while sunbathing. Wakes up to massive sunburn.

Then Harbinger (who is the manager) walks by, smacks the sunburn and SAYS:

Joker turns around to complain because he didn't like the service he just received and as a guest demands he  treat him right!

Harbinger goes to get some sunscreen and comes back to say "I am the Harbinger of your skins protection."

Joker demands to speak to the owner about this. The godchild approaches and ignores Joker's complaints.

He instead gives Joker three choices: blue, green and red.

Blue: Harbinger puts up an umbrella to protect Joker from the sun. Then the resort explodes.

Green: Harbinger and Joker fuse into one being that is impervious to the sun. Then the resort explodes.

Red: Joker would rather be sunburnt then accept help from Harbinger. He later discovers he has developed skin cancer but it doesn't matter because the resort explodes.

One thing everyone seems to keep forgetting.

Clarification does not mean no addition. If you ask someone to "clarify" their feelings, they explain their motivations, they don't go "I am feeling upset because I am upset" That's tautology, not clarification.

Worst case scenario? They give clarification of how the SPAAAAAACE MAGIIICCC!:wizard::alien: worked, how everyone teleported, and somehow why it is everything we know is wrong.

But the thing is, they are on record as having said things like not to trust the boy, and tons of other things, even "well, I wouldn't trust it then" when asked how the squad teleported onto the Normandy.

Why would they make us distrust things if they are meant to be taken at a face value?

I don't know about that. I honestly can't think of anything that makes less sense than synthesis. Synthesis is "absolute zero" for logic.

QFT. FemShep looks goofy in the game. At least Shepaloo looks realistic, even if a lot of people don't like the look. Default FemShep, there's... I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the proportions of her face just don't look realistic.

Do you have a source for them saying the god child isn't necessarily to be trusted? I find that very interesting.

I really think that all they wanted was to give us an ending with more than one interpretation, and the problem is that they just left it a bit TOO open-ended for anyone's liking.
