Yes, BioWare, the company that has brought us countless of great games and stories, now has the competency of teams that brought us Duke Nukem Forever.

::facepalm:: Seriously, people? Do you actually believe this? Yes, nobody's perfect--you only have to look at DA2 to see that (though I maintain it's not a utterly atrocious as some people do, but that OT). But to write BioWare off as a terrible company that doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground over this, when we don't even know what the ending really is yet? Look at their record--do you really think that they could fail so spectacularly?

Wait for the DLC before dismissing them; give them a chance. Yeah, waiting until the summer will be maddening, but lo, that's what patience is for. And hey, more time for rampant speculation! Whoo-hoo! :D

Checking the schedule there are 3 announcements it looks like, 1 at 11:30 am each day. Unless its 1 announcement and all 3 days is just further explanation of what that announcement is.

I wouldn't put it past them, but if the past month is any indication then they will announce it each day and say to be explained later...

@GambleMike so from the press release I'm understanding all the dlc will be is a few cinematics? Thats not what most wanted....

@The_R3medy no. It won't just be a 'few cinematics'

Wasnt it him who said there are no A,B,C endings? If so, you cant trust a word he says.

I have praised BioWare via acclaim and via my wallet.  I will wait.
No, I think BioWare is an EXCELLENT company.  One of the maybe seven/ten excellent companies out there.
But I'm losing patience with how they are dealing with all of this.

Well, I did enjoy the demo.  Although, at this point, if you take the endings at face value, then even E.T. the Video Game may be better than the endings.

Oh man, if it wasn't for the fact that I just ate dinner, I would be hungry for pizza. Heck, even though I just ate dinner I STILL want pizza a little bit. Curse you all!

So interesting to see how many people said "The ending is Shep fighting against indoctrination!" and then BioWare said "We will clarify things but wont change what it is." They all go "Oh no it can't be indoctrination as it was never indoctrination." Seriously what kind of logic do you guys have?
If the ending as it is is indeed indoctrination - which I think it is - then not changing the ending would just be proving exactly that point: that it's indoctrination and the theory was correct.
BioWare is giving us exactly what we wanted: a free dlc that explains what was meant by the ending regardless if IT was supported or not.
There was at least some days ago only a tiny fraction that would not have been statisfied by explanation/exposition of how the current ending makes sense.

Agreed. And furthermore, I really doubt they'll prove the IDT wrong. I believe they'll go out of the way NOT to prove it wrong. They have said over and over they WANT speculation. The closure that they are trying to give us will NOT be absolute, I guarantee that. Don't expect a neatly wrapped up ending of any sort. It would infringe on their "artistic integrity" which dictates that they must leave the endings open to our interpretation. By giving us more closure/context/clarity, all they are trying to do is clear up what the face value ending even means, in order to FURTHER facilitate speculation. Mark my words B)

It was actually a lot better for me than the ratings suggested - sure, it had an atmosphere somewhere between a cheap 80s action movie and even cheaper German porn. But hey, if you buy into that, then it's actually totally what you expect.

I didn't try the E.T. game, though ;)
